Annie Gonzalez
Annie graduated with a master's degree in marriage and family therapy and specializes in helping cis-women, trans-women, and non-binary individuals ages 18-45 who have experienced trauma. Annie’s work is neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed, focusing on helping her clients connect with regulation and self- acceptance and remain grounded so they can pursue happiness as they define it. Annie thoughtfully partners with clients to develop an understanding of who they are as a whole person before collaborating on a supportive treatment plan.
Annie seeks to offer a non-pathologizing, non-judgmental perspective to truly individualize recommendations. With experience in a wide variety of modalities, including IFS, somatic tools, CPT, and inner child work, Annie will develop a path to healing that feels supportive of your authentic self and respectful of your autonomy.
Annie’s therapy style is relationship-based and compassionate. She thoughtfully considers how the parts of a person’s identity intersect when making recommendations. Showing up for yourself and your community can be difficult in today’s world. Annie helps her clients resource themselves in ways that
foster autonomy, connection, and belonging.
Annie is supervised by Erika Pluhar, PhD, EdS, LPC, LMFT, CST-S, ACS and Erica Harry, LMFT-S, CST
