Elena Logvinenko

Psychiatrist, MD
Accepting clients Last Updated 3 days ago

Hi! I’m a board certified psychiatrist in Portland. I'm experienced in several types of psychotherapy, primarily psychodynamic, supportive, and dialectical behavior therapy (I don't offer standard DBT in my solo practice, since that requires a team approach). Besides individual therapy, I also offer psychiatric eval/management to folx already in therapy, as well as second opinion and psychopharm consults. My clinical approach (both meds and therapy) is an individualized and thoughtful one, and I value having a complete and accurate formulation ("what all's going on here") before proposing any kind of treatment.

The energy I bring to my patients is earnest, curious, accepting, and encouraging. I love helping people understand their emotions, relationships, and behaviors, work through (internal or external) conflicts, learn strategies to avoid repetitive psychological traps, and feel more like their best selves.

Both telehealth and (vaccinated) in-person appointments are available. If you think we might be a good match, message me to schedule a brief 15 minute zoom call. If you’re not sure if I offer the type of assessment or therapy that you're looking for, ask away! I'll happily answer questions about my practice :)
