Laura Shulman Brochstein
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or moving through a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with individuals who are ready to explore their inner world with curiosity and compassion, whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it.
My approach is warm, relational, and psychodynamic at its core, meaning we’ll look at how your past shapes the way you think, feel, and connect today. I also integrate practical tools from CBT and DBT to help manage anxiety, depression, and everyday stress, and use mindfulness to support grounding and emotional awareness.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals as well as women experiencing anxiety and/or depression. Together, we’ll build a space for reflection, resilience, and meaningful change—at your pace, and with care.
