Life can be many things—colorfully painful, beautifully complicated, and at times, completely overwhelming. And it doesn’t come with a how-to guide. We all experience complicated twists and unexpected turns that cause sadness, worry, anger, and destructive patterns with food, drugs, alcohol, and within our closest relationships. I help children, adults, families, and couples break free from unhealthy cycles, rewrite their life narratives, and make changes to create a life truly worth living. Our lives are too short to lose precious time to unhappiness, feeling hopeless, and being “stuck” in the same vicious cycles. Through therapy, I can help you create a richer, more meaningful and fulfilling life for yourself, your family, and your relationships.
Do you find yourself having strong emotional responses to past events? Are you struggling to “Let go” or “Move on” from painful experiences? A typical Enduring Strength Counseling client is someone between the ages of 20-35, possibly a member of the military community, who answered yes to the questions above and is ready to begin their mental health journey but do not want to deal with the constraints and limitations of insurance companies. My clients pay for services directly and feel greater comfort and peace of mind to engage in counseling knowing that their care will not be denied.
Life can feel overwhelming, and these days it’s easier than ever to feel lost. Know that you are not alone. Whether you’re working toward personal goals, trying to break old patterns or hoping to find some peace, I’m here to offer a supportive space where we can figure things out together. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, and religious trauma and life transitions, including those navigating the challenges of leaving a high-demand religion. My style is warm and client-centered. I often draw from evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness to help you manage stress, develop healthier coping strategies and meet your goals.
Hi there, I’m Kayleigh. Welcome! I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently pursuing my master’s degree at Alliant International University. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming at times, and my goal is to offer a steady, caring space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families who are navigating challenges like anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. I’m especially drawn to supporting clients in building resilience, exploring their identity, and creating meaningful change in their daily lives and relationships. My style as a therapist is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in respect for your unique experience. I integrate techniques from family systems approaches including Cognitive Behavioral, Collaborative, Narrative, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help uncover patterns, deepen understanding, and encourage growth. I work with you to shape the therapy process around your needs, goals, and comfort level. Outside the therapy space, I enjoy gardening, discovering local coffee spots, and spending time with family and friends. I try to live with intention, humor, and curiosity, and I bring those same values into my work with clients.
In my private practice I work with individuals, couples and families who struggle with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, grief, relationship impasse, low self-esteem and existential concerns. Please peruse my website and contact me if you feel that I may offer you guidance and support on your journey. As of July of this year, I am relocating my practice to Florence, Oregon.
