Bio I am a board-certified Stanford trained adult psychiatrist in practice for over 35 years. I provide compassionate, empathic and knowledge based care. Together, we will gain insight and knowledge about you and where your strengths and conflicts may be. Each person comes with a unique background and through this perspective, I will work with you to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. It is important to understand you as a whole person so that I can provide you with the most up-to-date treatment recommendations. My areas of specialty include mood disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues. Dr. Richard Corelli specializes in adult psychiatry, specifically mood disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and life transitions, including divorce and loss. He’s passionate about spending time in talk therapy with his patients rather than providing a “quick fix’’. Psychiatrists diagnose and treat mental illness, such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Most psychiatrists rely on a mix of medications and psychotherapy. https://stanford.edu/~corelli/ https://web.stanford.edu/~corelli/shortworks.html https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/psychiatrists/richard-j-corelli-half-moon-bay-ca/236593 https://www.linkedin.com/in/richardcorelli?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=ios_app

I'm Lauryn (she/her), a Registered Dietitian who helps people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, disordered eating, and body image concerns, especially when those overlap. I work from a weight-inclusive, intuitive eating, Health at Every Size (HAES) lens, shaped by my background in eating disorder care at the PHP/IOP and outpatient levels. Hello! I'm Cecilia Cruz, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who helps people manage prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, heart health, and women's health while keeping the cultural foods they love on the table. I offer sessions in English and Spanish. My approach is rooted in the belief that food is medicine. I don't label foods as "good" or "bad," because those labels lead to shame and guilt. Before joining Diabetes Digital, I provided nutrition support to vulnerable and underserved communities in San Francisco through nonprofit work. As a Mexican American dietitian, I honor each person's culture and experience, and I'll guide you toward sustainable health goals that fit your life. Ready to start? Have you ever felt like managing your health is a full-time job—especially when you’re juggling a million other things? Between conflicting nutrition advice, ever-changing health goals, and just getting dinner on the table, it’s a lot. I get it—because I’ve been there too. I’m Jessica, a Registered Dietitian, mom of two, and someone who’s been offering nutrition counseling since 2007. My interest in nutrition started in high school when I struggled with binge eating, diet culture, and a difficult relationship with my body. Over the years, my personal experiences—living with ADHD, navigating thyroid and autoimmune conditions, and managing preeclampsia and high blood sugar during pregnancy—have only deepened my empathy and shaped the way I support others. I specialize in helping people simplify food—whether that’s meal planning, grocery shopping, or creating sustainable routines that support your health without taking over your life. I’ve worked across private practice, public health, behavioral health, fitness resorts, and food service programs—but what I love most is working one-on-one with clients to find practical, personalized strategies that actually stick. These days, I work with people managing conditions like prediabetes, PCOS, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol—especially those who feel overwhelmed by diet trends or unsure how to start. I offer neurodivergent-affirming care and have a special passion for supporting fellow ADHDers in developing realistic nutrition routines that meet them where they are. If you’re looking for an approach grounded in intuitive eating, weight-inclusive care, and compassion, you’re in the right place. I believe food should be a source of nourishment—not stress—and that everyone deserves to feel good in their body without chasing unrealistic ideals. With a focus on intuitive eating, my goal is to help clients build peace with food and their bodies, steering them away from the frustrations of yo-yo dieting and food-related mental struggles. I’m committed to guiding clients toward healthier, sustainable habits that allow them to enjoy food and meet their health goals. More about me: I love spending time with family and exploring new things that give a fun, dopamine-kick; be it starting a garden, playing a new sport, painting, thrifting, etc. When I’m not working, I’m chasing my two high-energy kids, experimenting in the kitchen or reading fantasy books on my kindle! What to expect: Sessions are collaborative, judgment-free, and tailored to your real life. You’ll leave with a plan that feels doable—even on the busiest days. Ready to start? Book a visit directly at https://diabetesdigital.co/start.
As a licensed psychologist, I provide individual therapy for a range of concerns, including relationship stress, life transitions, depression, anxiety, parentification, and trauma. My approach is integrative and draws from psychodynamic theory, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, sensorimotor psychotherapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am EMDR trained and incorporate EMDR thoughtfully when clinically appropriate. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, completed my APA-approved internship at Harvard Medical School, and fulfilled my postdoctoral fellowship at Tufts University. I have over 18 years of clinical experience working with adults across a range of settings. Previously, I served as Assistant Director of Counseling at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and as a staff psychologist at Tufts University’s Counseling and Mental Health Services in Medford, Massachusetts. Are you interested in a type of counseling that is practical, goal-oriented, and short-term? Want to figure out what's causing you struggle and learn and practice tools to make it better? Tired of endless talk therapy without any change? I use an approach to counseling called TEAM-CBT that was developed by David Burns, MD, at Stanford. Clients who are a good fit are highly motivated to make changes in their life, willing to set specific goals to recover from their struggles, and ready to do the needed work. Good treatment is much more than just venting! I aspire to teach my clients to become their own therapist. Contact me to find out if we're a good fit to work together.
I primarily work with college students, adults and couples with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, relational and emotional issues, infidelity, childhood abuse, gender and sexual identity, and religious and spiritual issues. I also work with people who feel stuck, aimless, or desire to possess more purpose and meaning in their lives. In addition to psychotherapy, I offer psychological assessment services for such issues as ADHD Evaluation, diagnostic clarification, and learning disorders.
The students I help often experience anxiety in social relationships or work/academic related performance. They often share a lack of confidence and feeling doubtful about their competency going out into the “real world.” I help identify and enhance the qualities and strengths each client brings into therapy. By looking back at past distress or trauma, we are more able to see the present and future with more hope and optimism.
It may often feel like you’ve tried everything but nothing works, at least not long term. You find yourself worrying and often struggle with things that feel outside of your control. There is no shame in needing additional support. During our sessions we are processing emotions, identifying core beliefs, and working through action steps. These action steps are typically completed during session with the goal of increased client functioning over multiple domains. I support my clients to have the ability to independently manage their mental health symptoms, this includes knowing how to communicate when they need additional support from trusted individuals.

I believe that the first step towards change is acceptance; therefore, I strive to create a non-judgmental space, one that views many "symptoms" as coping mechanisms that made sense at some point but have outgrown whatever usefulness they once had. When we can view ourselves with compassion, we can then challenge ourselves to examine thought and behavior patterns that may be keeping us stuck and learn to move beyond them. An important part of this work is getting in touch with our core values and finding ways to remain in alignment with those values as we move towards our goals. When we know what we truly value and can detach from ideas of "right" and "wrong," we often realize that many paths can lead us to fulfillment, and that avoidance of uncomfortable feelings and experiences only keeps us in stasis. In my work, I use mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral approaches, combined with cultural sensitivity and curiosity — as well as a dose of irreverence — to help clients reconnect with themselves and their true values, honor their emotions without being controlled by them, and access their strengths to build resiliency and a sense of purpose. I take a dynamic approach, helping others through developing the courage and confidence to build new skills, change unhelpful views of the self, and increasing insight and understanding and acceptance of where you are, while working toward where you want to be. The more open and willing you are to share, the better we can work together to come to a shared plan, view of the problem and work toward more distress tolerance. I use practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, validation, insight, socratic questioning, breathing exercises, exposure therapy, mindfulness, and shame resilience to helping others overcome cognitive and emotional obstacles toward improving the view of the self or creating behavioral change.
