Hello. I believe we all do the best we can with the tools we have. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we can: • Set meaningful goals and move toward the life you want • Untangle your past to build self-understanding and self-compassion • Clarify your values and strengthen relationships • Process trauma and support nervous system healing through EMDR • Explore identity, burnout, and modern pressures • Question the status quo • Laugh, cry, exist Or, we can focus on whatever feels most important to you that day. Therapy is collaborative, flexible, and centered on your needs. If this resonates, I’d love to connect — feel free to reach out with any questions.
Danielle Fyffe
Hi! As a clinically-trained therapist, I want you to know that the struggles you face and the traumas you have experienced do not have to define you. You have the ability to create a new path for yourself, to live the life you really want to live. I would love to help you create that life. As a Christian counselor, I believe God created perfection and placed it all in the Garden of Eden. Unfortunately, sin entered the picture and people have been struggling with the effects of sin ever since. Sometimes that struggle is beyond our resources and understanding. We need to have someone help us through life's troubles. I work with adults, couples, and teenagers. I am interested in helping my clients deal with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, spiritual issues, marriage issues, trauma, and others. My husband and I have been in church ministry for over 40 years. We've seen a lot. While I am passionate about my own spiritual walk, I do respect the journey each person is on. It is not my place to dictate to you how your walk should look. God is big enough to handle that part all by himself. I am married to a pastor, have two adult children, and one son-in-law. I dearly love spending time with my family and sometimes try to do a craft project.

Mountain Valley Behavioral Health
Hi, I’m Jose Mathew, DBH, LCSW, LAC, CCTP I’m the founder of Mountain Valley Behavioral Health, and I believe therapy works best when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported rather than judged or rushed into anything. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use, burnout, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with carry more than they show on the surface. They may feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or unsure where to begin. My role is to help create space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and work toward meaningful change together. My approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded, and practical. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Every person has a unique story, stressors, and strengths. I work to understand the full picture—including emotional health, nervous system regulation, trauma history, relationships, physical health, and daily stress—so treatment feels personalized and relevant to your life. I use an integrated, trauma-informed approach that combines evidence-based therapies with authentic human connection. Depending on your needs, our work may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, EMDR-informed interventions, mindfulness, nervous system regulation strategies, and practical tools to improve emotional balance, communication, and coping skills. I also understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’ve spent a long time holding things together on your own. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy is not about being “broken.” It’s about finding a place to process what you’ve been carrying, better understand yourself, and build healthier ways to move forward. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, stress, substance use, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and more connected to yourself and others. Areas I Commonly Work With • Trauma & PTSD • Anxiety & Chronic Stress • Depression & Emotional Burnout • Substance Use & Recovery • Co-Occurring Mental Health Concerns • Relationship & Communication Challenges • Family Conflict • Nervous System Dysregulation • Men’s Mental Health • Life Transitions & Identity Stress • Integrated Behavioral Health Treatment Approaches • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Trauma-Informed Therapy • Motivational Interviewing • EMDR-Informed Interventions • Strengths-Based Therapy • Mindfulness & Somatic Strategies • Integrated Behavioral Health Care Credentials • Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) • Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) • EMDR-Trained (EMDR-T) • Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II (CCTP-II) A Final Thought I believe healing happens through connection, honesty, and learning to work with yourself rather than against yourself. Therapy is not about perfection; it’s about creating sustainable change, improving quality of life, and helping you feel more grounded, present, and capable in your day-to-day life.

Donald A. Simmons
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Texas and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado I have made the commitment to help others as they face adversity so as to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with themselves. I bring a wealth of experience and specialized training in addictions and mental health to my practice and there is one common theme I have noticed throughout my career, which is our self-talk. I tailor my counseling to each individual client and will use several interventions in practice. I am well versed in CBT, DBT, and MI. I also have a background utilizing Positive Psychology, SFBT, and Crisis Intervention. I invite you to a different therapeutic experience where I'll meet you where you are at. By providing a safe and supportive environment, my goal is to provide a holistic and person-centered therapeutic experience where you become empowered to build resilience, achieve personal growth, and become better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Adam Parker
Hi, I’m Adam Parker, a licensed therapist and school psychologist providing therapy for college students, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and emotional regulation. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning but feel overwhelmed internally, struggling with overthinking, difficulty following through, or feeling stuck despite knowing what they “should” be doing. My background as a school psychologist allows me to take a structured, skills-based approach to these challenges, helping clients better understand how their brain works and develop practical strategies to improve focus, reduce anxiety, and increase follow-through. My approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral and evidence-based practices, while remaining collaborative, direct, and approachable. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and productive, where we are not only building insight, but also making meaningful, real-world changes. If you are looking for therapy that is clear, practical, and focused on helping you move forward, I would be glad to connect.

Steve Valente
You may notice sleep worsening, stress lingering, or feeling on edge without knowing why. Anxiety, depression, or past experiences often show up first in the body, mood, or relationships. I’m Steve Valente, LCSW, a therapist in Colorado with over 30 years in social services. In addition to my clinical work, I’m a touring musician, which gives me a unique understanding of the pressures and unpredictability of creative life. Therapy when you need it, not just when you're in session. Secure, therapist-guided messaging that fits your life. I specialize in the messy overlap between relationships and recovery—because in my experience, you can't fully heal one without addressing the other. Whether you're navigating postpartum anxiety, a relationship that's been strained by substance use, or preparing for marriage and wanting to get it right from the start, I bring dual licensure in both professional counseling and addiction counseling to every case. My approach is trauma-informed, practical, and deeply respectful of where you are right now. I draw on trauma-informed CBT, attachment theory, and Gottman-influenced couples work, but mostly I follow your lead. I'm not trying to fit you into a protocol. I'm trying to understand your specific relationship dynamics, your history with substances if that's relevant, and what 'better' actually looks like for you. In our first session, we'll map out your concerns and create a clear plan together. Whether you're seeking individual or couples therapy, you'll leave feeling understood and confident in our direction. I also offer secure asynchronous messaging for support and guidance between sessions.
Colorado Eating Disorder Therapy
"Finding that there is more to life, beyond food and fear" . . . is the heart of my therapeutic philosophy. Most of my clients live in fear around how much food they eat . . . or do not eat. Their relationship with food has devolved into one of pain and hiding versus pleasure and health. I use a Gestalt approach which gives voice to a person’s two conflicting parts: the part wanting to hold onto the old, comfortable eating patterns and their "benefits", and the part yearning to let go for permanent growth and healing. Clients ultimately can reach a place where they discover choice, freedom and a healthy relationship with food. What I offer, that is different, is a no-frills, direct approach . . backed with over 20 years of extensive counseling practice and hands-on experience working with a wide continuum of mental health and addictions issues. My approach works for many clients as I truly believe that effective counseling deals with "unfinished business" and patterns from our past, which play out in our lives today. Once identified and challenged, clients can then find "choice" and make the key changes that will truly sustain into the future. Most people who contact me are already aware that they are doing their best AND that something is not working and needs to change. Are you up for a change? Please note, I do not accept insurance through my private practice but you can find me on the Sondermind platform to potentially use your insurance.
Kim Davis
I work with creatives, academics, professionals, caregivers and helpers who are used to doing it alone — but don’t want to anymore. I specialize in complex grief, trauma and high-functioning depression in thoughtful, driven adults. My work integrates EMDR, somatic and trauma-informed therapy to help experiences settle in the nervous system — not just make sense intellectually. Together, we focus on practical tools to regulate intense emotions, build resilience and reduce the quiet weight you’ve been carrying. We move at a pace that honors your history without rushing the process. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, less reactive and more connected to your to your own life, please reach out.
