Therapy can help with difficult questions: How do you find more fulfilling, life-affirming ways to scratch the itch that drives addictions and obsessions? How do you transform the perspective of being part of a social minority into a vision of personal integrity and identity? How do you come to terms with the realities of aging, including satisfying sexual expression?
I specialize in performance anxiety and high achievement challenges among musicians, graduate students, and creative professionals. Clients may look like they’re doing “fine” on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck internally. Many of my clients struggle with perfectionism, self-doubt, or fear of not measuring up even after success. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as ACT, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral strategies. I aim to create a space where you can think clearly, feel understood, and build tools that actually work in real life — whether that’s managing anxiety, rebuilding confidence, or navigating a major life transition. Therapy with me is practical, thoughtful, and growth-oriented. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit. Sometimes you just need space to reset, reflect, and move forward with clarity. Before I was a therapist I was a music professor, and I watched talented, driven students strive for excellence while quietly struggling with anxiety and self-doubt. Many were trying to meet not only external expectations, but the very high standards they set for themselves. Over time, I began to see a real need for therapists who truly understand the intense pressure of performance-driven environments. That realization led me to pursue clinical training. I understand what it feels like to care deeply about your work, your performance, and your future. I spent years in higher education and the performing arts, so I know firsthand the pressure that can come with auditions, exams, presentations, and high expectations. My path into therapy grew out of a desire to support people navigating those same pressures with greater clarity, steadiness, and confidence.

Welcome! I work with young adults around challenges such as stress & anxiety, life transitions (including into and out of college), healthy relationships, boundaries, self compassion, and perfectionism. My style is collaborative, explorative and based in connection. I help my clients connect to themselves, confront patterns and negative self talk, increase compassion, shift perspectives and grow.
My focus is to help individuals embrace their challenges, validate them and learn to put them in a compartment of normalcy so that they can emerge from their past trauma and learn to thrive again. I guide the process at the pace and level acceptable and comfortable for each individual, pulling from a variety of modalities. Every person has a unique situation encompassing mental, financial, psychological and emotional challenges, all of which I manage individually.

I know what it feels like to hate your body, spend every waking moment thinking about food, constantly comparing yourself to others, and dealing with the sadness associated with not 'fitting in'. Throughout my experiences working with adults and children, I've witnessed entire transformations that come only as a result of addressing both physical needs and our individual psychological hurdles. I'll work with you to find solutions and tackle stressors, including those caused by low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, chronic dieting, or relationships. As a Body Love Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor, I work to equip women and girls with the knowledge, tools, and support they need in order to ROCK regardless of their weight or body image. **I'm in-network for Amerigroup, Blue Cross Blue Shield/Anthem, CareSource, Humana, and Peach State. I also provide therapy virtually and in the community.

I work with teens (13+) and young adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, low self-worth, perfectionism, or the pressure to hold it all together. They may struggle with boundaries, burnout, or feeling like they're never “enough.” Deep down, they want to feel more confident, connected, and at ease—but they’re tired of doing it alone. They’re looking for support that feels real, not clinical. I offer a down-to-earth, solution-focused approach that blends CBT, experiential techniques, and often nature-based practices. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine connection, not a script. I help clients reconnect with their strengths, build practical tools, and create meaningful change—all at a pace that feels right for them.
