Therapists for college students near 46202
Culture, identity, and expression are essential to happiness. However, for some of us, this is a challenge to embrace. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them embrace their true selves and accept what we cannot change. People frequently limit themselves based on old assumptions & expectations, and it can be freeing to start to untangle this. The emotional pain caused by these issues can often be isolating, and it can be healing to have somebody else there with you to explore and process. My approach to therapy is to use self-understanding and awareness as a mechanism for change. While my style is primarily insight-oriented, I have an eclectic approach incorporating various therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective therapy. My first session is exploring our fit and discussing realistic expectations and outcomes. También ofrezco sesiones en Español si es necesario o lo prefiere.
Hello! My name is Morgan, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since starting my career in 2015, I have worked in community-based mental health, private practice, schools and hospitals. Since 2021, I have primarily worked in tele-health, so I am well versed in making virtual sessions as comfortable and productive as possible. Before becoming a therapist, I played college volleyball. When I think of the most difficult times in my life, transitioning from high school to college is near the top. Trying to juggle living on my own (being homesick), college classes and a full-time volleyball schedule was no joke. I struggled with Depression and I wish I would have had someone to talk to, someone to help me adjust to this crazy time in my life. I want to be that person for others just like me. I’ve worked with children and adults dealing with life-changing situations, such as Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD. However, I believe that therapy is for everyone, so even if you don’t feel you are dealing with severe issues, I also assist clients with stress, self-esteem issues, coping with general life changes, relationship issues, family conflicts, anger management, communication issues and coaching.

Whether you have participated in prior treatment, or are taking this step for the first time, I am honored to be part of your journey. HRT for men and women, though I’m far from an expert. I deep dive into assessing and managing the B12 and folate pathways, vitamin D, thyroid, metabolic labs, among others. My initial evaluations occur with a full history and physical exam, patient’s endorsed symptoms, (including vitals, and an MSE), past psychiatric records as well as any collateral (ie. from a partner/ family/friends/other providers/caregivers, and legal guardians) who can speak on patient’s behalf, (in office, by phone, or virtually) - with lab monitoring, vitals, scales, diagnostic assessments, and a final treatment plan based on the provider’s recommendations. Life transitions also span, preschool through 12th grade (navigating middle school), secondary education, and ongoing advanced education, career, or simply feeling stuck in an overstimulated, environment, between jobs, with endless choices, but don’t know where to start. Healing is not linear, but I’m committed to accompanying you on this journey to self reflection and self discovery. Any time is the right time, truly, as long as you show up ready to explore, to learn, to grow:) Outside of work, I enjoy salsa dancing, learning Spanish, leisure reading, comedy, Broadway shows, dabble in learning about plants, and spending time with my dog, Roo. I was a former division 1 athlete, tennis player at UMASS, but have since traded in my racquets for dance shoes and anything related to the Latin culture. Call or text now to get started! 843-801-6877. I cannot wait to meet you and embrace this process. How about you? Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.
When your struggles get to be too much, life can begin to feel heavier and more isolated--robbing you of peace. Without the right support, it's easy to feel stuck, life no one truly understands, and that nothing will ever change. The longer you walk alone, the harder it becomes to move forward. You don't have to walk this road alone. Connect with us for support!
Wondering if therapy is right for you? When I explained counseling to my 10-year-old daughter, she sat across from me on the floor and made a connection I'll never forget. She concluded, "So mom, you'd be like my own personal target. All of my thoughts and feelings are like arrows that I can throw at you." Yes, that's exactly what counseling is like. A safe place you can hurl "arrows," so they don't have the power to hurt you with their sharp points! You are not defined by your experiences or struggles. Taking a step toward counseling is brave because healing is a process and finding wholeness is a journey. Life is challenging to say the least! Let me walk alongside you as you navigate finding renewed hope. Together, we will discover who you are becoming!
