For the past 20 years, my clinical focus has been helping people ages 10 and up who have identified depression, anxiety, life transitions and family issues as sources of stress in their life that they wish to work through. My clients come to me to reduce/eliminate their symptoms and regain their own definition of ideal functioning. I also support my clients through difficult life transitions and/or family issues. I am known in my community for working with adolescents and young adults at Purdue University.
I have over 25 years of experience working collaboratively with people navigating life transitions. My expertise includes managing anxiety, depression, job loss, parenting challenges, and adjusting to life changes. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Psychodynamic Approaches to understand and help navigate your challenges.
Wondering if therapy is right for you? When I explained counseling to my 10-year-old daughter, she sat across from me on the floor and made a connection I'll never forget. She concluded, "So mom, you'd be like my own personal target. All of my thoughts and feelings are like arrows that I can throw at you." Yes, that's exactly what counseling is like. A safe place you can hurl "arrows," so they don't have the power to hurt you with their sharp points! You are not defined by your experiences or struggles. Taking a step toward counseling is brave because healing is a process and finding wholeness is a journey. Life is challenging to say the least! Let me walk alongside you as you navigate finding renewed hope. Together, we will discover who you are becoming!

Everyone deserves support, however they arrive — color-coded planner in hand or running five minutes late with coffee spilled down their shirt. Anxious, calm, talkative, quiet, existentially confused — you’re welcome here. The bigger question is really: Am I your kind of therapist? You might read my profile and think, “She gets me,” or, “Why is she so emotionally invested in foxes and axolotls?” Either way, I promise I’m still licensed. I’m an LPC-MHSP, LCPC with over nine years of experience. I mainly work with PTSD, OCD, DV/SA, and BPD. I also see a range of other concerns—because humans are complex, and the universe did not consult the DSM before handing out life experiences. People usually open up more when they don’t feel pressure to perform or deliver a TED Talk about their feelings. Autonomy matters to me. You get to ask questions, collaborate on your treatment, and arrive exactly as you are — glamorously put-together or held together by three bobby pins and sheer willpower. If you need to laugh, cry, swear, or take a strategic pause while your soul hits “buffering,” that’s part of the process. Life gets messy… it's real and unfiltered. *** I schedule by appt so I do not have posted hours. Please just reach out. I am flexible!

School can be some of the most rewarding years of your life but they can also be overwhelming. Between classes, internships, work, relationships, family expectations, finances, and figuring out who you are and where you're headed, sometimes it's good to have some extra support. Therapy gives you a place to talk openly about what's going on, without judgment. Whether you're feeling anxious, stressed, burned out, stuck, lonely, or simply trying to make sense of a major life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone. I work with college and graduate students on concerns such as anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, identity exploration, gender identity, academic stress, life transitions, binge eating, and body image. Many of my clients are also learning how to manage life on their own for the first time and are discovering that no one ever really taught them how to handle the emotional side of money. As a Certified Financial Social Worker, I can help you develop a healthier relationship with money, spending, debt, budgeting, and financial decision-making. Together, we can explore both the practical and emotional aspects of financial wellness so you feel more confident and in control. My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I'll meet you where you are, help you build on your strengths, and offer practical tools along the way. If you're curious about working together, I'd be happy to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.
Welcome. My intention in therapy is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I bring curiosity, kindness, and genuine care into every session, and I honor you as the expert of your own life. I draw on my experience supporting adults, adolescents, and families to help clients with anxiety, OCD, depression, and related concerns, using approaches such as ACT, ERP, and MBCT to tailor treatment. Sessions provide a supportive, trauma-informed, culturally responsive space for growth and change.
I offer warm, collaborative, and practical therapy for individuals who want to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves. Together, we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your ability to cope, and develop tools that support meaningful change. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and strengths-based. You don’t have to have it all figured out. I can provide support as you make sense of your emotions, understand what may be holding you back, and build confidence moving forward. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of behavioral health experience, I believe therapy should be a safe place to be understood without judgment. You do not have to navigate this season alone.
