I am experienced at working with any of these problems/diagnoses and more. I work with each person individually to identify treatment goals and decide what approach might be the best fit. I tend to integrate treatment models in my thinking and practice, with intensive training completed in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and advanced training in psychodynamic treatment. My style is warm and non-judgmental, sensitive, deeply caring, and very appreciative of humor and creativity- these are incredible human resources. The bulk of my experience is in treating children, adolescents and young adults with a diverse set of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment, identity development, etc. Because I believe the connection held between therapist and client is the most important indicator of success, even if your concern isn't listed here, please reach out to see if we might be a good match. I work from an eclectic framework, beginning first with developing a strong therapeutic reliance. Dr. Michael Macht-Greenberg is a licensed psychologist with more than 25 years of experience providing psychological consultation and therapy to adolescents, adults, and families. He earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University and a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. Most recently, Dr. Macht-Greenberg served as the Chief Operating Officer at McLean Hospital. Dr. Macht-Greenberg partners with people experiencing sadness, anxiety, and life transitions. He helps them understand their thoughts and feelings and then how to use this understanding toward effective coping skills and happier relationships.
