My job as your therapist is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, goal-oriented environment for you to highlight and cultivate your best self. Or, in the words of Dolly Parton: "Find out who you are, and do it on purpose." I value humor, humility, and building on your existing strengths to help achieve your goals. My work is informed by a strong belief that our wellbeing is impacted by the environments within which we exist, and I work to help improve the communities and systems that we all inhabit. I specialize in helping clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity development. My approach is casual and client-centered. My theoretical orientation is eclectic, meaning I draw on a broad range of clinical interventions and theories to best suit your specific needs. It's important to find a therapist who feels like a good fit. I invite you to reach out so we can touch base by phone and discuss any questions you might have about the therapy process.

At its core, therapy is about the people sitting in a room together (or often sitting on computers together), and that safety within the relationship is one of the most important aspects of finding a good fit. I am honored to create that space with you. As a therapist, I start with one basic assumption: you are the expert of your own experience. My hope is to empower people to better understand those experiences or to bring in additional perspectives that might shed more light on aspects of one’s life. Informed by my background in queer theory, feminist theory, and anti-racist ideologies, I work with my clients to identify the external structures of power impacting their lives, then engage with the areas of their lives within their control where they can make changes and achieve their goals. While many forms of therapy take from one another and blend together, I begin with trauma informed relational-focused work and draw heavily on DBT/CBT/mindfulness-based therapy modalities. I view therapeutic relationships as dynamic, and work to tailor the experience to my clients’ needs and preferences. Whether you are someone who likes sessions to feel more conversational, someone who appreciates tangible takeaways like worksheets, or someone who wants to spend time practicing skills in our sessions, we can work together to find a treatment plan that suits you.

As a solution-focused, goal-oriented therapist, my treatment approach is to provide you with the support and practical feedback that will assist you in resolving not only your current problems, but with any long-standing patterns of behaviors that may be interfering with your daily life and relationships. With sensitivity and compassion, I will assist you in finding solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues. Incorporating conventional and cognitive-behavioral strategies, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques in determining what will be most helpful to you. I also have an extensive history working with both children and adults throughout the North Shore area in a variety of treatment settings.

Hi, I’m Dan—the founder and owner of Clarity Counseling Services, LLC. College can be exciting, but it can also feel like a lot—especially when you’re expected to juggle academics, relationships, identity, family pressures, and your future. Maybe you look like you're holding it together, but inside you're overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to keep going. Maybe you’re trying to make sense of a tough experience, struggling to manage expectations, or just feeling... off. You want to feel better—but you also want to understand yourself more deeply and figure out how you got here. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on and build a path forward. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you don’t have to filter your words or mask your feelings. I specialize in helping college students navigate stress, anxiety, identity shifts, relationships, and big life transitions. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, and I’ll meet you wherever you are—with curiosity, calm, and without judgment. I use an integrative, strengths-based approach tailored to your needs, drawing from nearly 20 years of clinical experience. We'll work together to unpack what’s weighing you down, improve your self-understanding, and build tools that help you feel more grounded, balanced, and capable—both now and in the future. It’s time to find more peace, clarity, and meaning—not just in school, but in all parts of your life. Let’s work together to get you there. **A Note About Insurance: I’m an insurance-friendly provider. While I don’t bill insurance directly, many students with PPO or POS plans successfully use their out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed. I provide detailed Superbills and can guide you through the process step by step. I also offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to help you get a feel for how I work and see if we’re a good fit. If you have any questions about fees or insurance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help.**

Doing everything "right" but still anxious? Able to “intellectualize” your feelings but not actually process them? Traditional talk therapy hasn't worked? I specialize with working with high performers/achievers, neurodivergent (mainly ADHD and/or Autism), and LGBTQIA+ populations. I primarily work with graduate students, young professionals, and professionals. I have experience working mainly with anxiety, depression, relational trauma, life transitions (e.g., transition to adulthood, stress management, grief and loss, identity exploration and development), and providing affirmation around neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ identities. - Please refer to my PsychToday link (https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/emily-monahan-morang-north-andover-ma/1210251) for my full bio and group practice website information with also information about insurances taken. - More about me: Hello, my name is Emily Monahan-Morang. Most of my patients are in their 20s and 30s, and part of the LGBTQIA+ community who struggle with anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and burnout around their high-pressure jobs/career/industry (e.g., academia, healthcare, STEM). Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions. Starting therapy can seem scary, but its brave to get some help! Make the decision to feel better today. I am an Out of Network insurance provider-contact your insurance to see if you qualify for these benefits. Flexible spending and HSA accepted as payment. I collaborate with adults as they heal from trauma, anxiety, loss, depression, other mood issues, or any number of matters leaving them feeling somehow ineffective. As a clinician for over nineteen years, I will join with you to identify and transform painful obstacles, arising from past and/or present challenges, which hinder you from making healthy changes. Drawing especially from Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we will journey together to access your core nature, the Self, more spontaneously. This leads to clarity and calm over internal and external challenges you face, resulting in heightened creativity and effectiveness with problem solving, relationship building, and goal attainment. I believe you possess all necessary strengths and pathways to answers for improving your life, but may be having difficulty accessing them at present. I welcome individuals who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual, including those questioning or seeking help adjusting to leading more open, fulfilled lives with however they identify themselves. The IFS model utilizes a non-pathologizing, mind-body focus. Drawing from the natural strengths existing within each of us, IFS and EMDR guide a person into taking the lead in one's own healing process, no matter how traumatic a background one may have lived through. On 5/4/14, I completed the Level 2 IFS training. On 3/12/17, I completed the basic EMDR training. I accept these insurances: BCBS and Medicare.

Hi, my practice is here to support those struggling with disordered eating, body image issues, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. Most of my clients come to me due to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, and have a feeling of just surviving. I utilize a variety of different modalities based on the individuals needs. I often will encourage clients to process feelings from the inside out this allows for a deeper connection to your authentic self and sets you up to have your needs met. Some practices I may use are mindfulness, breathing practices, brainspotting, and guided somatic practices.

I help adults in all phases of life. I help my clients work through new and past traumas, and through typical or unexpected life transitions. In therapy we can make meaning, find purpose, or forge new paths. Many clients come for help managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger, or addictions. If you need help but don't know what questions to ask, that's okay! You don't have to know exactly what's wrong or what you want. Finding out is part of the process! Therapy can be to heal, recover, sort through, reconnect, rejuvenate, strengthen, or change aspects of your life to make it more manageable & meaningful. I primarily work with college-age students as they navigate this transitional time in their lives. I currently have early and late evening appointments as well as Saturdays 10-1.

I work with anxious, overwhelmed women, including college students, young adults, millennials, and moms, who often feel stuck in their heads, emotionally drained, or unsure of themselves despite appearing capable and successful on the outside. You may be struggling with overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, stress, social anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, life transitions, or the pressure of trying to keep up with everyone's expectations while figuring out what you truly want for yourself. Using CBT, mindfulness, and holistic approaches, I help you better understand your patterns, manage anxiety, navigate big emotions, build self-confidence, and create healthier boundaries. Together, we'll work toward reducing overwhelm, quieting your inner critic, and helping you feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to what matters most. Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, gain clarity, explore your identity and goals, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Whether you're adjusting to college, navigating a major life transition, struggling with relationships, or simply feeling lost, stuck, or overwhelmed, you don't have to figure it out alone. If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to support you.
