I work from a compassionate, whole person approach where trust and safety allow for awareness and growth. I work with adults at all stages of life, with a particular fondness for emerging young adulthood. My typical client may be experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal challenges, grief and trauma. I would like to support you on your therapeutic journey and in my experience, a good relationship and rapport are the most important ingredients for successful therapy.
With over 10 years of experience, I feel deeply honored by the trust clients place in me when they open their hearts and share their inner world. I have experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and relational problems. My passion for working with diverse populations led me to pursue the Global Mental Health: Immigration and Trauma Certificate from Harvard University. I strive to see my clients beyond their diagnoses and to raise awareness of the societal and cultural challenges that may prevent them from fulfilling their true potential I work best with high-achieving individuals who may appear successful outwardly but feel overwhelmed or uncertain internally. Many of my clients are immigrants or from multicultural backgrounds, navigating identity, belonging, and the pressures of academic or professional life, while also seeking to align their success with deeper meaning, purpose, and spirit

My clients don't come to therapy to hear someone nod and agree with everything they say. That isn't worth their time or money. They want real help. They want to know "what to do" and "how to fix it" because they are struggling with depression, severe anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, suicidal thoughts, parenting issues, and other painful situations. They're looking for a true expert that they can actually talk to. I am a member of PSYPACT which means I can see clients in every state that is a member of PSYPACT. I'm also licensed in both TN and MA. I'm a DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinician and an expert in Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, self-harm, and oppositional adolescents. I am an Associate faculty member at Vanderbilt University and have served as a trainer and consultant for a variety of hospitals, schools, and the military. I founded and own PSYCHē, PLLC, a private network of therapists across multiple states. Our job is to pair our clients with great clinicians all over the country. PSYCHē also offers various Standard DBT skills groups and Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) skills classes online ranging from $100-$125. New members can begin right away! Visit www.psychepllc.com/groups for more information about groups, meeting times, or to enroll online. Changing people's lives for the better is my life's purpose and where I get a sense of meaning. I love my job :) I look forward to meeting you.

It can be hard to know when to call a therapist. Have you found yourself thinking the below thoughts? -There is something wrong with me -I don't understand the way I am feeling -No one understands me -This isn't supposed to be the way my college experience is -I just can't handle these feelings of sadness/stress/anxiety If so, it sounds like you could benefit from talking to a therapist. Life is hard and therapy can be an effective tool to help navigate life's difficulties. As your therapist, I will sit with you and listen as you share your struggles and we will make sense of things. Together, we can figure out how you are unintentionally "getting in your own way" and also recognize the ways you are helping yourself thrive (but perhaps hadn't even realized it!). I'll teach you about your emotions, the mind-body connection and the relationship between thoughts-feelings-behaviors. This information will help you learn new and better ways to help yourself when you are feeling overwhelmed with your emotions and life challenges. Sounds like this could be helpful? Send me an email, we can schedule a 15 min phone call where I can answer your questions and we can get started.

The students I connect with most are curious about themselves and want to understand not just what they feel, but why. Many seem capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside — struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, friendship or dating struggles, or a harsh inner critic. Some notice the same patterns repeating or feel unsure of who they are and what they want. If you’re ready to look a little deeper, we’ll likely be a good fit. I offer a steady, supportive space to explore the inner stuff you’ve been carrying around. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor to our work, helping therapy feel human, relatable, and sometimes even a little fun. I use talk therapy as our foundation, and when it’s a good fit, I may also bring in EMDR, a well-researched approach that helps your brain process difficult experiences — whether from the past or present — so they feel less intense and less triggering. I also draw from practical skills, mindfulness, and self-exploration tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control — ready to move through college with greater clarity, self-trust, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.

I help clients impacted by anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship concerns, sexual intimacy concerns, and identity-based stress. Together, we’ll explore how your various identities and lived experiences influence the way you navigate life and relationships. You will better understand yourself and develop the necessary skills to confidently face everyday challenges. I’m here to support you by recognizing and valuing all parts of who you are. My therapeutic approach is trauma-attuned, psychodynamic, relational, and social justice-oriented. I enjoy helping transgender and gender diverse clients explore their identity and experience more connection. I support clients seeking gender-affirming treatments/surgeries by collaborating with their medical providers. I also welcome folks from other diverse communities, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodiverse, and other underrepresented identities. Reaching out for support isn’t easy, especially if therapy hasn’t always felt made for you. I aim to offer a space where your full identity is welcomed and your voice has room to grow. Visit my website or get in touch with questions. I’d be glad to explore whether we’re a good fit. I provide therapy through Intersect Clinical Services, a preferred provider for Boston-area students. *Telehealth video sessions only* Healing from difficult life experiences can and does happen. We are all wired to protect ourselves from experiencing pain, but unfortunately the parts of ourselves that work hard to distance us from pain often keep us from living fully. If you are noticing patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are getting in the way of your moving forward in the direction of your dreams, this is a great start. The work of therapy is to slow down in order to cultivate the space between you and your feelings so that you are less overwhelmed, more understanding and have greater self compassion. You are not your feelings. Whether you suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem, or are having conflict in relationships or difficulty adjusting to new experiences, I believe that you have the capacity and strength to overcome obstacles and live life to your fullest potential. With a calm and caring presence and over 25 years of experience, I would be privileged to work with you so that you can experience freedom from self-limiting beliefs and live with greater intention, self- acceptance, interpersonal effectiveness and joy. Therapy doesn't have to be painful or overwhelming. I will work collaboratively with you to pace the work so that you can maintain a sense of safety and stability throughout the process. I use a number of different therapeutic modalities but believe that goodness of fit in the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of success. I am happy to speak with you to help figure out if I would be a good match for you.
My therapeutic approach centers around establishing a trusting and collaborative environment for clients to navigate their challenges. I am dedicated to providing a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental space, empowering individuals to confront obstacles and find peace and balance in their lives. I have experience working with adults coping with life stressors, adjustment to parenthood, recent medical diagnoses, anxiety, depression, OCD and trauma. My clinical training includes work in hospital settings, addiction research, and outpatient work. I have completed the International OCD Foundation's BTTI training for use of ERP with OCD diagnoses.
Through my own lived experience, I can deeply resonate with the realities my Millennial and Gen Z clients face. Dating, social media, politics, finances, and demands from school or work can be so daunting. My main priority as a therapist is to create a non-judgmental, engaging, and approachable environment where you feel empowered to navigate these challenges together. Just having one of those days where you need to vent about your mom, partner, or roommate? There’s plenty of space for that too. While I pull from many approaches in my work, I especially enjoy utilizing skills-based therapies like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). These can address concerns like anxiety, stress, interpersonal conflict, sleep, and more. My goal is that you leave each and every session feeling more ready to take on what life is throwing your way. If you’re looking to gain control amidst our out-of-control world, I’d love to connect with you. Please don’t hesitate in reaching out for a free 15-minute consultation.
