I became a therapist to bring my passion for helping others into a space where you can feel truly comfortable, supported, and understood. My goal is not just to create that feeling within our sessions, but to help you carry it into your life and relationships. When we work together, you’ll find me walking alongside you, offering guidance and support as we explore what empowers you and helps you feel more confident in who you are. I’m here to encourage you, celebrate your progress, and help you build a stronger, more authentic connection with yourself and the world around you.

I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in adolescence and young adulthood. I completed a fellowship at Mclean Hospital in Adolescent Mental Health. I was previously a psychologist at Mclean Hospital's Klarman Eating Disorders Center where I specialized in the care of individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and associated concerns. I enjoy working collaboratively with a client, couple, or family to understand how someone's struggles relate to their larger goals, hopes, and motivations and how to work to understand their experiences together and move closer to those goals. I use approaches to therapy that focus on understanding the role and functions of emotions and behaviors, understanding someone's experience in the context of relationships, and utilizing strengths and competencies in the therapy process. In addition to individual therapy, I have a passion for working with couples, families, and in relationship based therapies. I also provide parent consultation for parents supporting their child or adult child through an eating disorder. Please reach out if you have any questions and would like to schedule a complementary initial phone consultation.

I specialize in supporting individuals through some of life's most tender and transformative moments: major life transitions, chronic health concerns, bereavement, shifts in identity, pregnancy and postpartum well-being and more. These are experiences that can shake us to our core — and they deserve more than a surface-level approach. Healing here doesn't have to look one way. Each session draws from somatic awareness, mindfulness, creativity, & talk therapy — tailored to what feels right for you. Through this whole-person approach, we'll work together to reconnect with your resilience, release what no longer serves you, and find your way back to yourself — toward peace & fulfillment My work is grounded in my training as an Art Therapist (ATR) and Psychotherapist (LPC/LCMHC), alongside study in somatic and polyvagal work, mindfulness-based practices, and attachment theory. I'd love to support you through whatever you're carrying. Please don't hesitate to reach out.

Person Centered Therapy provides individual, family, and couples therapy to treat a multitude of mental health conditions. I particularly enjoy working with college students and young adults to guide them through career and life transitions as well as helping them to overcome limiting beliefs so they can thrive. I have over 27 years of experience in helping clients overcome anxiety, depression, anger, trauma/PTSD, grief/loss, stress, self-esteem, gender identity, phobias, and other issues which once prevented them from accomplishing their goals and making the important changes they wanted in life. Clients can expect “person centered” therapy which means the focus is on each person’s own unique insights and experiences. This empowers our clients to take a lead role in their therapy which offers them autonomy, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and help to reach their full potential to live a fulfilling life. We offer a safe and supportive environment so clients not only receive encouragement, but also feel comfortable being fully involved in sharing their thoughts and experiences. Such a supportive approach encourages clients to explore their own insights, find solutions, and take a very active role in their therapy. This method also promotes self-awareness, personal growth, autonomy and empowerment plus helps to develop healthy and effective coping strategies to improve emotional well-being and functioning across all areas.

Hi, I’m Dan—the founder and owner of Clarity Counseling Services, LLC. College can be exciting, but it can also feel like a lot—especially when you’re expected to juggle academics, relationships, identity, family pressures, and your future. Maybe you look like you're holding it together, but inside you're overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to keep going. Maybe you’re trying to make sense of a tough experience, struggling to manage expectations, or just feeling... off. You want to feel better—but you also want to understand yourself more deeply and figure out how you got here. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on and build a path forward. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you don’t have to filter your words or mask your feelings. I specialize in helping college students navigate stress, anxiety, identity shifts, relationships, and big life transitions. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, and I’ll meet you wherever you are—with curiosity, calm, and without judgment. I use an integrative, strengths-based approach tailored to your needs, drawing from nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I provide detailed Superbills and can guide you through the process step by step. I also offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to help you get a feel for how I work and see if we’re a good fit. If you have any questions about fees or insurance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help.**

So glad you've started this process and found yourself here. Should we decide to take the next steps together, you will find a dedicated space just for you, where I fully encourage, and want to see, your authentic self. Whether you are experiencing sadness, relational concerns, anxiety, or difficulty with adjustment, the main goal is for you to grow and make new meaning out of your experiences. We may work particularly well together if you're looking to explore your sense of self, identity concerns, social justice concerns, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach explores how ideas of self and the world have formed and works towards reframing these ideas to create personal meaning. I strongly believe that society has a profound impact on mental health and individual concerns don't exist in a vacuum. We will create the opportunity to explore, acknowledge, and rework your personal narrative. *PLEASE NOTE: I am in-network for Aetna in NJ only*

Life is incredibly overwhelming at times, isn’t it? We have all kinds of expectations and demands from our family, our partners, friends, employers, professors, and even ourselves. It can seem like a harsh world and the last few years have felt especially taxing. So many young adults are inundated with stress and sadness. This can lead to feeling anxious, unfocused, unproductive, and irritable. Then the self-doubt and criticism inevitably emerge and the questions of “What is my purpose?” and “Will things ever get better?” arise. If you are experiencing challenges or struggles, I would love to work with you and create some clear and concise goals as well as strategies to attain your objectives. I incorporate an integrative approach to therapy, using evidence-based cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques into my practice, primarily. We can talk about whatever is causing you stress. Seriously! Nothing is off-limits and there’s no judgement here. Instead, we explore the issues that impact your relationships and your life. Together, we will work to understand the origins of your overwhelming emotions, create some self-care practices for you, develop coping skills to help you feel better, and set forth an action plan to help you move forward. We will work towards your vision of happiness and contentment so that you can live the life that you deserve! I can offer you an empathetic and nonjudgmental relationship in which I support and encourage you in working through your frustrations, questions of identity and self-exploration, or relationship issues. I can assist you to become more aware of your emotional responses to disappointments, and to see that setbacks can be a time of self-reflection and growth. I taught at the college-level for many years and have vast experience with both young and older adults in the college environment who have had personal, academic, and career concerns. I truly enjoy the college population and would feel honored to help. Let's connect! Please visit my website and schedule a free 15-minute consultation with me.

I recognize that finding a therapist can feel daunting and that asking for help is not always easy. I want to acknowledge this first step of looking at profiles and encourage you to take the time to find someone that feels like a good fit for you. If we work together, my goal is to provide a non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported; we will also work together to identify goals and steps towards meaningful change that feel aligned with your life and your beliefs. Over the past 8 years I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of needs and expectations. My work primarily focuses on supporting clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am also passionate about helping people set boundaries in their relationships, advocate for themselves, build self-confidence, and commit to realistic self-care. I am mindful of the importance of context, including systemic barriers, cultural norms, and the dynamic nature of the counseling relationship itself in order to identify the best approach for you as an individual. I center my work with clients, irrespective of age and experience, on the belief that fundamentally every one of us is doing the best we can at any given moment. I strive to create the space necessary to move through what feels, and can be, unbearable, and move forward with hope and intention. I am currently accepting new clients via telehealth. Please reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing if we could be a good fit to work together!

Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions. Starting therapy can seem scary, but its brave to get some help! Make the decision to feel better today. I am an Out of Network insurance provider-contact your insurance to see if you qualify for these benefits. Flexible spending and HSA accepted as payment. I enjoy working with a wide variety of college students, individuals grieving pet loss, and those in technical fields throughout Massachusetts, given my own background as a software engineer. I also specialize in working with individuals on the autism spectrum, including neurodivergent adults. My approach comes from a strengths based perspective. I believe that individuals have the ability to make significant life changes by identifying the sources of their current difficulties, understanding why their coping methods may have made good sense at the time, and learning new ways of being in the world that fit with who they are now and that support their growth and heart's desire. My role is to provide a supportive, trust-based environment and help individuals create the lives they wish to live. I use a largely psychodynamic perspective, often integrating mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches. I'm interested in research areas of positive psychology, the neurobiology of connection, adaptive solitude, therapeutic journal writing, and the role of nutrition and fitness on mood, mental health, and well-being. I look forward to meeting you!
