Hello! I am currently accepting new clients. Therapy is most supportive when you have a good rapport with your therapist. As a therapist, I am passionate about working with young adults, supporting individuals navigate a range of challenges, including perfectionism, anxiety, relationship/family concerns, grief, self-esteem/confidence, and general life stressors. I also have experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent.

You're studying nursing because you want to make a difference in the world. But it doesn't feel like you thought it would. You are faced with challenges in clinical that were never talked about in the classroom. By the end of the day, you're numb and exhausted. You spend your nights looking up how to transfer to a different major. You are spending your weekends watching the same show on repeat and wondering if this is really the college experience everyone talks about. Therapy designed specifically for nursing students focuses on creating a restorative space where you can finally slow down and process the emotions you push aside to make it through the day. We will talk about how to maintain self-care and balance while you study one of the hardest majors and learn the coping tools and boundaries needed to support ongoing success in your profession. My name is Janet Cope-Leclair and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I began working in this field while still in college and my interest and commitment to this field has not wavered since. I have worked within a high school, adolescent group home, outpatient clinic, an addiction treatment center, an adolescent inpatient setting, and now private practice. I have 20 years of experience working with teens, adults and families who are in crisis. My work is often with individuals struggling with difficult symptoms; therefore I operate honestly, directly and professionally. I truly enjoy serving in this field, working with the individuals and families and being a witness to the growth that transpires.

You’re used to handling things. You’ve figured out how to succeed, meet deadlines, and show up for others — but lately it feels harder. Maybe anxiety is louder, your mood dips more often, or relationships feel strained. You don’t have to keep pushing through alone. Therapy can help you build steadiness, clarity, and more intentional choices in the middle of a demanding season. At Mind Field Therapy, I work with college students navigating anxiety, depression, identity shifts, relationship stress, and the impact of difficult life events or past trauma. I’ll absolutely ask how you’re feeling — and we’ll go deeper than that. I’m direct, grounded, and occasionally use humor when it helps us loosen anxiety’s grip. The goal isn’t endless venting; it’s understanding what’s driving the patterns and building tools you can actually use.
To establish a relationship with a therapist takes time and can be rewarding when you are able to build trust, knowing you are able to confide and share your perspective, your story. This process allows the individual the opportunity to gain clarity in a setting that is confidential and accepting. All too often emotional/physical pain can have a significant impact on our ability to remain independent, self-reliant, engaged in everyday tasks and life roles at level of independence that is rewarding to oneself and those they care for. As an Occupational Therapist with a background in behavioral health, I take a holistic approach. As an Occupational Therapist I have assisted many clients in understanding how their performance patterns, habits, routines, and roles influence life satisfaction. This process allows my clients the opportunity to promote, establish (or restore), or modify a task within a life role to create a sense of control over ones life. My background and 25 year experience have demonstrated success in supporting clients who experience physical/emotional pain and reduced functional independence. My ability to allow an individual to feel safe, acknowledged, and empowered while developing the tools and skills necessary for emotional stability, greater independence, and an effective resource.
**Weekday, Evening and Weekend Appointments Available** **Now seeing clients in Massachusetts and New Mexico** Are you caught up in a seemingly endless cycle of addiction to alcohol or drugs? Well, I have good news and bad news for you. Let’s start with the bad news: it takes significant effort to stop addictive behaviors, and to address the underlying emotional or trauma issues that compel you to relapse over and over again. There’s no magic wand, no Abracadabra. Now the good news: The cycle doesn’t have to be endless. Recovery is possible! I have 25 years experience working in the addictions and mental health treatment field--in settings ranging from group homes to treatment centers. I authored a workbook on Mindfulness-Based Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I also specialize in teaching coping skills for trauma and emotions that tend to drive us back to our addictive behaviors. My approach is eclectic, client-centered, empathic, and goal-directed. I can help you chart a path to sobriety and wellness, and to begin to address the underlying reasons behind self-defeating behaviors or troubling emotions in the here and now. I offer virtual appointments.

Hi! Welcome to the start of something great. Deciding to do therapy can initially be scary however, I look at therapy as just having a conversation and figuring some stuff out along the way. If you are feeling stressed about new things in life, experiencing new or intense emotions, or just needing someone to listen and build understanding then please feel free to reach out!
I am a holistic and integrative psychiatric provider. I provide a warm and non judgmental environment and actively listen to your concerns. Together, we can develop a treatment plan that is comfortable for you. You are not alone.
I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist, and I feel privileged to help those struggling with mental health issues. I understand that there is still a stigma surrounding mental health, and I strive to ensure my patients feel understood during our appointments. Building rapport and getting to know my patients beyond just their diagnoses is central to my approach to care. I have experience treating patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, emergency departments, and medical hospitals. I believe that the best outcomes usually occur when medications and therapy are used together. While I enjoy treating all psychiatric illnesses, I have a particular affinity for personality disorders and substance use disorders. I also have experience addressing mental health issues during and after pregnancy. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Biology at Laurentian University, followed by medical training at Ross University School of Medicine. I then completed my psychiatry residency, serving as chief resident, at the University of North Dakota in Fargo.
Hey, I’m Alexandra. Life can be exciting, but it also brings its fair share of stress, uncertainty, and tough decisions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing a big change, or just trying to figure things out, you don’t have to go through it alone. My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, build confidence, and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I take a flexible approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and other effective methods to help you gain clarity, identify what really matters to you, and take action toward your goals.
It's important to me to be someone my clients can trust to be nonjudgemental, validating, and interested in understanding them better. I hope to support clients in exploring their values and relationships; increasing feelings of self-esteem and self-efficacy; building skills to cope with distress and pain; and recovering from experiences of trauma and invalidation. I particularly enjoy working with clients who identify as highly sensitive or who experience emotional intensity.
I enjoy working with college students, and have experience treating a wide variety of issues. These include, but are not limited to: Anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment problems, self-esteem difficulties, and family conflict. I also have a special interest and training background in PTSD and trauma-related difficulties. I am EMDR-trained. My style is warm and collaborative, and I use an individualized approach with each client. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to gain support, insight, and tools to guide you on your mental health journey. I am an ideal choice for students who go to school in Massachusetts but permanently reside in New Hampshire (or vice versa). I am licensed in both states, which means that I can meet with you when you are at school and when you are home on breaks. I am an ally and safe space to members of the LGTBQIA community, racial/ethnic minorities, and those impacted by poverty. I am aware of how systemic oppression, systems of privilege, and all forms of prejudice impact human functioning. However, I do not pretend to be an expert in these areas, and I am not personally a member of the above-mentioned communities. I welcome any questions about me or my practice. Please feel free to reach out at carahgarsopsyd@gmail.com or 603-577-5551 x3.

About me: I have a strong belief in therapy because I've successfully used it. I've had my own personal exploration into suffering and I've made my way out of these fogs by utilizing the support of others. It is my experience that no one lives their best life alone. Connection has the capacity to offer regulation and engender strength. I honor my sense of humanity that allows me to tend and befriend others, and take joy in my sense of playfulness that can bring a smile or a laugh to someone at the just the right moment. About my work: I work through an integrated lens, currently drawing on EFT, neuroscience, mindfulness, and positive psychology to explore how lifestyle, relationships, and early experiences shape our wellbeing. I also use the power of storytelling to help reframe the limiting narratives we carry about ourselves. Lately, I've been doing meaningful work with clients navigating OCD tendencies, using approaches including ERP and ACT. I am also working to expand my expertise through continued education in somatic approaches, chronic illness and premenstrual disorders, to support the full complexity of what my clients carry. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, to help people trust themselves again, and to help them recommit to life — through the big things and the small. About my credentials: I graduated from Lesley University with a MA in Mental Health Counseling in 2018. I am a Massachusetts licensed mental health counselor with experience in a variety of outpatient therapeutic settings. I welcome your questions.
