Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step? You’re not alone. I work with students who are navigating big transitions, juggling academic pressure, and trying to manage relationships, identity, and self-care all at once. Some come to me because they feel anxious, stuck, or easily overwhelmed. Others are working through past hurts, challenges with self-esteem, or patterns in friendships and dating that aren’t serving them. Our sessions are a space to slow down, sort through what’s on your mind, and find practical tools for coping, communicating, and building the life you want. I take a warm, collaborative approach — you bring your experiences, I bring strategies and perspective, and together we work toward change that feels realistic and sustainable. Whether you’re seeking a place to process feelings, learn new skills, or explore who you are, my goal is to make therapy a space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped to move forward.

With me, you’ll find a supportive space that recognizes life doesn’t always go as planned. Goals can shift—not as a reflection of your effort or worth, but often because of the realities life brings. Together, we’ll regularly revisit and adjust your goals to ensure they stay aligned with your needs and enhance your quality of life, even as circumstances change. I currently serve the profession as a counselor educator and supervisor while maintaining a small private practice, Rhythms of Hope, LLC. I also serve my community as a licensed clinician, an approved and licensed clinical supervisor, a board certified telemental health provider, and a nationally credentialed counselor. My greatest joy as a counselor is being able to support clients in becoming empowered to navigate shifting tides of their life while accounting for the reality of the unknown. I desire to not only enhance access to mental health support but also destigmatize mental health while enhancing access to wellness. Click this link to make an appointment easily online: https://www.rula.com/providers/SC/1164800447? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I have been practicing for 15 years and I love what I do. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Our mind, body, and soul all work together to create who we are. It is important that we work to get each of these aspects of our lives healthy. My therapy approach is eclectic style. I truly believe that each individual has unique needs that I want to ensure I meet. I have a great deal of experience in working with college students. I specialize in treating anxiety, adjustment, and life stressor issues, trauma, depression, family dynamics, anger management, ADHD, developmental issues, self-esteem, issues children and adolescents face, and more. My approach I utilize an eclectic style of therapy to meet each individual's needs. My primary approaches to therapy are CBT, Client-Centered, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology, TF-CBT, and Play Therapy. My focus I have experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I enjoy working with all ages. My communication style My therapeutic environment and communication are open, non-confrontational, and judgment-free. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. My journey to mental healthcare When I was in high school, I took a Psychology class and fell in love with learning about the mind and how it works. I have always had a passion for helping others, and immediately knew that therapy was what I wanted to choose as a career. It has been the best decision I have made. My goals for you When working with clients on setting goals, I encourage them to create their own goals. I will provide input as well, and help them navigate this. I want their goals to be realistic and attainable. I want my clients to understand that therapy is their space and time to create their own goals. My first session with you In the first session I will inquire with clients what their goals are and what brings them into therapy. I will complete a biopsychosocial assessment with them and gather information to help me best meet their needs. I will introduce myself and my therapeutic approach, and allow for any questions they have.

Licensed in CA, NC, FL and PA—offering seamless virtual care for students on campus and those traveling home for breaks. I am a Licensed Psychologist. I attended U of Miami, FL for my B.S, M.S., and Ph.D. As part of my graduate program, I completed courses and did research at Duke, U of Penn, Jefferson University, and Rutgers. I completed a specialized post-graduate Harvard program to understand and overcome internal barriers to achieve personal growth. Later in life, I became a UCLA Alum by obtaining my Certificate in Human Resource Management and was selected as the valedictorian for my speciality. This added a capability to enhance my work as a Strategic Human Resource Executive for two large Aerospace companies based in Torrance, CA. I live in beautiful Napa, CA. My practice is virtual using a secured platform. I see adults 18+ yo for individual therapy. For the past 30 plus years, I helped people just like you find ways to get on track with their lives. My goal for you is to understand yourself and be able to take steps to feel the way you want to feel. During our initial sessions, I ask that you share what you feel I need to know about your situation and circumstance, your feelings, about who you are and what you hope to gain through therapy. I take time to get to know you. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, reactions that arise in therapy as these are just as important as what happens outside of therapy. You will design your own unique tools and techniques to use throughout your life in various situations that give you relief and help during difficult times. Compassionate and patient, encouraging you to overcome hurdles you can control and let go of ones you can’t. We will move you towards your best self by holding you accountable for your own growth. We work collaboratively; starting with what’s happening now, breaking things down into manageable areas to work on. We explore ways to increase your awareness and your actions from how you view things to your actual behaviors. I keep up with the latest science on evidenced based approaches, and leverage our current understanding of our whole body. You'll gain resilience to handle life’s challenges. I believe that we are creative, resourceful & whole... and sometimes, we just need a helping hand. We have genetics and learned behaviors that make us who we are. Think about it, if we can learn what we have learned to bring us to where we are today, without even trying, imagine what we can do if we put just a little bit of effort and energy into learning something different that would work better for us today. If we take care of our whole body, eat right, stay active, stimulate our brains, give to and receive from others then we do better dealing with stress and challenges. I do practice the things I talk about. It’s important that I take care of myself. And we’re not prefect so sometimes we stop our best practices and then we realize we need to pick them up again because we notice the negative impact. That’s me too. I love that we have similarities and differences as humans, that’s what makes us so wondrous! If you want to learn more about how I can help, send me a message. Please be sure to share your personal email and your personal cell phone so I can reach you.

Hey there! I provide virtual therapy for adults navigating OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and depressive symptoms - many of whom are unpacking intimacy, identity, and religious trauma. My approach is affirming, and grounded in empowerment. I'm LGBTQ+ friendly and deeply anti-judgment. I meet you where you are, not where you think you should be. Together, we challenge shame and rigid beliefs while building insight, autonomy, and self trust so life can feel more authentic and connected. Whether you are seeking relief from emotional distress, healing from past experiences, or finding a deeper connection with your authentic self, I am dedicated to come alongside you on your journey toward growth and well-being. Sessions are collaborative, gentle, and focused on both symptom relief and deeper insight. Clients often describe our work as calming, clarifying, and real. My goal is to offer a therapeutic space where you feel safe to show up fully, without judgment, and explore what healing looks like for you. Therapy isn’t about 'fixing' you. It’s about supporting the version of you that’s already trying to grow.

College can be one of the most exciting and overwhelming seasons of your life. You may be adjusting to being away from home, navigating new relationships, questioning your major, managing academic pressure, or quietly carrying anxiety, depression, or past trauma that hasn’t had space to heal. On the outside, it can look like everyone else is handling it just fine — but inside, you might feel stuck, exhausted, unmotivated, or unsure of who you’re becoming. If you’re in that space, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to work through it by yourself. I work with college students who are in the middle of real life transitions — identity shifts, relationship changes, academic stress, family expectations, grief, trauma, and the quiet weight of self-doubt. Depression during college often doesn’t look like “sad all the time.” It can show up as procrastination, isolation, low motivation, difficulty focusing, or feeling disconnected from the person you used to be. Trauma can show up in relationships, in trust, in sleep, or in how hard you are on yourself. Together, we slow things down. We make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and build practical tools that help you feel more steady, confident, and grounded. My approach is collaborative and straightforward. I don’t believe in sitting back silently while you struggle to find words. We talk. We process. We challenge unhelpful thoughts. We work through emotional blocks. I integrate approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based strategies to help you build resilience while honoring your story. My goal is not just symptom relief — it’s helping you understand yourself better so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. College is a time of growth — but growth can feel uncomfortable. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, numb, stuck, or unsure about your direction, therapy can be a space to reset and regain momentum. You deserve support as you figure out who you are and who you want to become. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to Request an Initial Appointment and begin therapy. You don’t have to wait until things get worse. Let’s work together to help you regain balance, rebuild confidence, and move through this season with strength.
