You may feel stuck, confused, and overwhelmed…but you are not broken. You do not need to be fixed. Your challenges are most likely a normal reaction to a difficult situation and tough societal expectations. We are here as your ally, resource, and guide to help you better understand your story within the context of a complicated world. We embrace the individuality, uniqueness, and exceptionalities of each person who starts their therapy journey. Over time, we’ll clarify what matters to you and pinpoint various thought patterns and behaviors that get in the way. You will receive support, education, and skills for issues that are most important to you. We also offer adult autism evaluations for those wondering, "Am I autistic?" Our testing process is collaborative, streamlined, and affirming. These can be conducted in-person or over Zoom and consist of conversations, interviews, and forms. It can seem like it requires endurance, when all you’re trying to do is get your mental health needs met. The good news is there are lots and lots of great therapy practices! And a practice or a therapist that’s a great fit for one person, doesn’t mean that it is for you! All that matters is what works for you. Whether you feel nervous, doubtful, unsure, excited, and/or anything else, let’s chat, when/if you’re ready. Just because we talk, doesn’t mean you have to start therapy!

Of all the relationships we have in our lives, I believe that the one you have with yourself is the most important and impactful. Therapy allows a person to create an authentic relationship with oneself. Through the therapeutic process, a person is able to find and access their own innate ability to heal and grow within a supportive, compassionate, and empowering environment. My passion for this work comes from seeing my clients evolve to feel happier and healthier in their daily lives. What I do: Individual Psychotherapy- I provide both in-person and telehealth treatment for teenagers, young adults, and adults, focusing a wide array of concerns including: life transitions, traumatic life experiences, daily functioning impairment, anxiety, and depression Gender and Sexuality Affirming Mental Health Care- I provide a safe space for those of you within the LGBTQIA+ community to process concerns unique to your own lived experiences Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)- EMDR is a research-backed treatment developed to help you heal following traumatic events by processing memories and gaining control over the way the trauma history impacts the mind and body. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)- CBT is used to help you understand and learn skills to challenge unhelpful or maladaptive thinking and behavioral patterns Mindfulness- Mindfulness techniques are used to teach you how to relate to your thoughts differently and to live in the moment

Are the characters/themes in the Euphoria or Pixar films relatable? Do you find yourself connecting your feelings to movies, music, tv, or books? Maybe you're experiencing a recent life change of being in a new environment, newly found independence, a new job, relationship status, recent move, or exploring sobriety, and it sucks doing it alone. Can you relate to the “buzz” of anxiety Ted Lasso felt when his “panic” crept in. Are you the Nick Miller of the group, struggling with holding boundaries, overthink the little things, or feel you are your own worst enemy? How about Chidi Anagonye, uncertain of all your decisions? You feel motivated, yet unsure of how to get started? You’re trying to navigate this fucked up world, while just trying to have the "normal" college experience. Imagine feeling more confident and passionate in your pursuits like Leslie Knope. You want to be more present in your day to day and embrace a feeling of calm. Boundaries? You become a master of that shit! Implementing and enforcing them in your life.
