Young adulthood can be a time of growth & self-discovery, often full of contradictions… exciting yet uncertain, liberating yet terrifying, carefree yet sometimes paralyzing. You may be figuring out who you are, where you’re headed, and how to build a life that feels like your own. Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationships, or past experiences. Or perhaps you’re simply trying to find your footing as you navigate the challenges of adulting. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Together, we can make sense of what you’re experiencing and help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. Therapy with me is a space to feel seen, understood, & fully yourself. Together, we’ll get curious about what’s beneath the surface with compassion & without judgment. There’s room for laughter, tears, uncertainty, & messy in-between moments. We’ll explore who you are, develop your sense of self, & work toward feeling more capable & confident in yourself. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re used to carrying things on your own. You don’t need the right words or answers to get started. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe & manageable, creating space to understand your emotions, discover what matters to you, & build healthier relationships. You don’t have to figure it alone.

What do you do when what everyone calls "the best years of your life' just aren't?? The transition from home to college is an exciting one, but one that brings with it many new experiences...leaving home (sometimes for the first time), living more independently, meeting a whole world of new people, and learning more about yourself...your strengths and weaknesses. As a college student you often face adversities such as a lack of stability, increased social and pressures, and a strong push towards academic hyper-achievement. Together with familial and social (media) pressure college students often experience changes in sleep, eating and energy patterns, irritability, a loss of interest in activities previously enjoyed, and substance abuse. Knowing when you need support, and taking the initiative to actually get that help is an important first step in figuring things out. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, homesickness, finding your people or just trying to figure yourself out I hope that I can help.

We believe what makes you different makes you wonderful, not wrong. Too many people spend their first therapy sessions teaching a well-meaning counselor the vocabulary of their own lives before they can even talk about what's actually going on. We started Love Let Out because everyone deserves a therapist who already speaks their language, and because we're committed to dismantling the systemic barriers that keep marginalized communities from getting care that actually fits them. We do this by building our practice around lived understanding, not just clinical training. Our clinicians come from the communities we serve, your life isn't theoretical to us. That means our approach is collaborative and culturally responsive from the first session: we're not assessing whether your relationship structure or identity is "the problem," we're helping you build a life and relationships that actually work for who you are. In practice, that looks like a team of licensed clinicians offering telehealth therapy across Texas, Oregon, and Washington, specializing in open/non-monogamous relationships and kink-affirming care, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, neurodivergence (ADHD/autism), and trauma and religious trauma recovery. We work with individuals, couples, and small groups/polycules, ages 15 and up.

My ideal client is motivated to improve their quality of life and may struggle with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and grief/trauma related issues. They are interested in understanding themselves and cultivating healthy coping strategies to deal with the challenges of our modern world, with the ultimate goal of thriving, not just surviving. They understand that we all have the opportunity to continue growing and want to live a more self-expressed life by identifying and challenging negative and self-limiting thinking patterns. I compassionately support and validate my clients, while also encouraging them to take on the challenges in their life. I have significant experience with mindfulness practices and believe in the power of creativity (writing, music, art) as a therapeutic tool. Most people are settling for less than what their lives can possibly be. I am committed to helping you lead a self-expressed life and to help you see all the ways that you are a gift to yourself and others. I do not have all the answers, but I believe that together we can inspire each other and produce breakthroughs you may not think are possible.

Pre-Licensed Professional
Online
Alpine, CA

Trinette, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), emphasizes collaboration with her patients in treating psychiatric disorders and managing medications. She partners with them, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and supportive and talk therapy to meet their unique needs. Together, they explore CBT techniques, where Trinette guides patients to identify and reframe distorted thoughts—say, tackling anxiety-driven fears—co-creating strategies that empower them to cope. In MI, she works alongside patients, sparking their motivation to embrace treatment plans, like sticking to meds or therapy for depression, ensuring their voice drives the process. Through supportive talk therapy, Trinette and her patients jointly unpack emotions, building trust as they process challenges like trauma, reinforcing their resilience as a team. In medication management, collaboration shines: Trinette assesses symptoms and histories with patient input, designing psychopharmacological plans together. She explains options—perhaps adjusting an antipsychotic for bipolar disorder—while they monitor effects and tweak dosages as a unit, balancing efficacy and comfort. For instance, a patient with OCD might co-develop a plan blending CBT for obsessions and a serotonin reuptake inhibitor, refining it based on shared feedback. This partnership fosters ownership, as patients feel heard and respected. By merging these therapies with tailored medication, Trinette and her patients collaboratively address mind and body, paving the way for sustainable mental wellness through mutual effort and understanding.

Clients I work best with tend to be women grappling with some kind of trauma - abuse, sexual assault, divorce, family conflict, medical issues, growing up with emotionally immature parents, etc. I love empowering women to rediscover their voice, set boundaries, heal themselves, and start living the life they want to live, rather than the one they may feel forced into.
