Sharon Tang
I have over two decades of experience providing psychotherapy with a focus on trauma, gender, and culture. Many of my clients identify as people of color, LGBTQIA+, and/or neurodivergent and are coping with discrimination, relationship issues, and/or a history of trauma. I strive to integrate a social justice and anti-bias perspective in all my work. This means that I treat each client as an individual with different needs and do not simply apply the same protocol to everyone. In addition to serving as a therapist, being an instructor at Oregon State University and a former trauma researcher helps me understand how to apply key psychology principles with sensitivity and stay current on new knowledge in the field.

Teja Kritika
Many of the students I work best with are navigating big transitions—adjusting to college or grad school, balancing academics with athletics, managing relationships, or figuring out what comes next. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure of how to move forward. Some students come to me struggling with stress, burnout, or motivation, while others are working through challenges like past trauma, substance use, or relationship patterns that no longer serve them. I have a particular interest in supporting student-athletes and individuals dealing with performance pressure, identity, and the unique demands of competitive environments. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in old patterns and want to create meaningful, lasting change. In our work together, I focus on creating a space where you can be open, honest, and fully yourself without judgment. Therapy with me is collaborative—we’ll work as a team to better understand what’s going on and develop practical tools that fit your life. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped to handle challenges now and in the future.

Olivia Haglund LPC, Embodied Spirit Counseling
I am here to remind you that you are already whole. My intention is to walk with you on your healing path and co-create a sacred space where we can tend to your body, mind, and spirit. My approach is heart-centered, non-pathologizing, and grounded in a humanistic lens. I value what evidence-based practices offer us, and hold reverence for the wisdom traditions, somatic knowing, and transpersonal experiences that live outside those frameworks. I also recognize that Western psychology is rooted in colonialism, and I am committed to an approach that honors lineages of healing that the dominant system has excluded. I feel especially called to sit with those navigating anxiety, grief, and religious deconstruction. I weave in mindfulness, somatics, parts work, expressive arts, nature therapy, and transpersonal exploration. I am certified in Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR. I enjoy working with the queer community and Highly Sensitive People (HSPs)—both of which are part of the path I walk. I am Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned. When you reach out, please let me know what about my practice resonates with what you are seeking, your insurance, and your availability.

Drew’s theoretical orientation is eclectic, drawing from several different philosophies including person-centered (humanistic), existential, transpersonal, ecopsychology, Buddhist psychology, and gestalt psychology. These philosophies propose that each person has within them an inherent transformative power to realize their human potential. Drew’s goal is to help his clients realize and take responsibility for this power, helping them look deeply at the unfolding process of experience, freeing them from unconscious relationship patterns that may be holding them back from realizing their potential. Drew practices a variety of therapeutic modalities including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, clinical heart centered hypnotherapy and gestalt expressive arts therapy. The therapeutic techniques that Drew uses are tailored to the needs of the individual with an emphasis on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.

Sarah Smith, LCSW
Hello, I’m Sarah. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years of experience working in youth and family mental health services. My background includes work in community mental health and school-based programs as both a therapist and school social worker. My training and clinical experience have focused on supporting youth and families, survivors of childhood sexual abuse and their families, and individuals experiencing school-related challenges. I work with teens ages 14 and older, as well as adults, and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported. I believe therapy works best when built on trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection. My approach is strengths-based, skills-focused, and collaborative. I believe you already possess strengths, resilience, and capabilities that can serve as a foundation for growth and healing. Together, we’ll build on those existing strengths while developing practical skills to help you navigate challenges more effectively. Depending on your needs and goals, this may include strengthening communication skills, emotional regulation, coping strategies, mindfulness, boundary-setting, or problem-solving techniques. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space that focuses on your strengths, goals, and capacity for growth rather than simply on what may be “wrong.” I want you to feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together to help you move toward the life you want.
Mindful Steps
I am an evidence-based therapist who incorporates mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies to tailor therapy to your needs. I will help you understand how to be more present-focused, how to set yourself up for success, and how to challenge negative thoughts and beliefs that hold you back from living a genuine life. I am a goal-oriented therapist. In the initial stages of therapy, we will work together to identify and clarify goals. Then, I'll help you learn new skills or tools to make those goals a reality. Finally, we'll work on reducing the likelihood of similar issues coming up in the future. Please feel free to email me through Psychology Today even if my profile says I'm full. I save a few weekend spaces specifically for students.
Candace Morago, MSW, LCSW
Assisting woman-identified Oregon State students for nearly twenty years has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I have assisted students in all areas of study and from many continents. I have aided students in managing existing mental health challenges, adjusting to new mental health diagnoses, navigating academic stressors and relationship changes, healing from sexual assaults and traumas, learning to use their voice, becoming more comfortable in their bodies, and more. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker means that I believe that we are best understood in relation to our inner and outer environments, and also that our strengths hold wisdom that act as a blueprint for understanding our challenges. I work relationally with no workbooks or homework and believe that a healthy therapeutic relationship is a the most important tool in assisting others. My counseling style has been described as warm and nurturing, yet direct. I work best with students who are seeking therapy for themselves and are looking to actively engage in a change process. Feminist and Narrative theories heavily inform my work and I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as tools to help create lasting change.
Elias Rademacher
The foundation of counseling is a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My first goal is to create a safe and accepting relational space where my clients can be their true selves and explore their emotions and experiences. I tailor treatment to the needs of each client, drawing on several different approaches, including AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). Depending on the goals of my clients, I help them process past trauma, work through difficult emotions, address anxiety, and arrive at what attitude they want to adopt towards their struggles. AEDP is my primary approach to counseling, and I receive ongoing training in it. It is particularly well suited to processing past trauma. It is attachment based, meaning we look at the impact of past childhood relationships. I am also helping my clients raise their awareness of their bodies and increase their ability to both access and regulate emotions. I earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University in February of 2024. I have been working at Empowering Choices Counseling and Consultation as a counseling associate since the summer of 2024. My previous professional experience includes working as a treatment aide with youth and men at a residential addiction treatment program and a nine-month counseling internship I did at Empowering Choices as part of my master’s program. I work with adults of all ages, specializing in helping people work through trauma, depression, and anxiety. Over time, the counseling journey can help you process difficult emotions, heal from trauma, find inner strength, and gain clarity on life. Like other vehicles of personal growth, counseling involves challenging yourself in new ways, but an empathetic, non-judgmental, and encouraging guide can provide the support and safety needed to navigate the challenges.

Kaseja Wilder
I love working with people who aspire toward self actualization. Sometimes staying emotionally regulated can gets in the way of having a clear understanding and experience in day to day life. Modern culture has a way of throwing us ups and downs, but I have good news: There are ways to obtain equanimity, compassion (for yourself and others) and even joy in the process. In my practice, I won't be trying to "fix" you, rather we will be on a journey together to help you obtain more of the life you want to be living.
