I have experience supporting students through general academic stress and concerns as well as compounding stressors relevant to diversity, culture and identity. Finally, I understand the intersection that other factors have during the college and university experience (i.e., family, friend and romantic relationship building and conflict, social injustice, financial stress, career uncertainty, etc.)

It is the mission of Morris Cognitive Behavioral Consulting to meet clients where they are when they enter treatment and help them come to a place of radical acceptance of their current circumstances. Dr. Morris has an interactive, direct style that, at times, feels more like coaching than traditional psychotherapy. She focuses on enhancing a client’s motivation, as well as helping them find the balance between acceptance and change. Their goal is to locate the “gray area” between extremes in thinking, emotions, and behavior. It is these extremes, which lead to common problems in living, relationship difficulties, or severe mental and behavioral symptoms. Dr. Morris believes in doing more than helping individuals reduce troubling symptoms; she wants to help clients break free from ineffective behavioral patterns and, more importantly, truly heal. She is committed to teaching clients how to stop emotions from controlling their lives. She strives to help clients overcome barriers that keep them stuck in negative behaviors, life patterns, or relationships that hinder their ability to reach their desired goals and live fully. Dr. Morris channels her unrelenting energy, straightforward style, and radical genuineness to help shift clients into resolving these barriers and ineffective patterns. She hopes to enable clients to become more skillful in their everyday experience so they can be more effective at reaching their goals while, ultimately, creating lives worth living. Dr. Morris specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions, strength-based approaches that focus specifically on practical coping skill acquisition, which are uniquely tailored to each client's individual goals. She offers a range of evidence-based therapy, group, and consulting services to children, adolescents, adults, families, schools, and organizations.

College is supposed to be some of the best years of your life—or at least that’s what everyone says. But what if it doesn’t feel that way? Maybe you’re constantly stressed about classes, worried about your grades, or overwhelmed by everything on your plate. Maybe you compare yourself to everyone else, feeling like you’re always behind or not doing enough. Or maybe you just feel stuck, unsure of what you want or where you’re headed after graduation. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. College is hard, and no one gives you a guidebook on how to manage all the pressure. That’s where I come in. I work best with college students who are: 🔹 High achievers who feel burned out—pushing themselves to the limit but still feeling like it’s never enough 🔹 Stressed and overwhelmed—juggling classes, work, and personal life while trying to keep it together 🔹 Struggling with self-doubt and imposter syndrome—feeling like they don’t belong or aren’t “good enough” 🔹 Navigating big life changes—adjusting to college, preparing for life after graduation, or figuring out who they are 🔹 Feeling anxious in social situations—overthinking conversations, avoiding conflict, or struggling with friendships and dating
Hi! My name is Victoria and I help students to navigate challenges such as life transitions, relationships / breakups, career stress, grief and loss, athletic performance, chronic pain / chronic illness, sexual exploration / sexual dysfunction & men's issues. Hi! My name is Josh Foster, I have over 20 years experience in working with college students, helping them through many of the most difficult emotional barriers and roadblocks that we face. I love working with college students! A lot of the work that I do with people centers around trauma that they have experienced. As someone who has been diagnosed with PTSD as a result of trauma suffered by churches and religious people and systems, I have great empathy and understanding for people dealing with trauma. Here's some of how I approach the work I do with people: I’ll get to know you through asking questions. No one story can encapsulate all of who you are, so I’ll listen and show curiosity about you and your life. I will speak hope to you. I believe that hope is essential to keep moving forward as a human being. I also understand how hard it can be to hold onto. We’ll look for repeated themes, ideas, and connections in your stories so that we can find the problem(s) and discover the tactics and strategies that the problems are using to stay in power. We will work to separate you from the problem(s). I honestly believe that you are not the problem but that whatever problem you are struggling with (anxiety, depression, anger) is the problem. We will discover who you aspire to be and develop tools and strategies that can help you to live for longer stretches of time as the best version of yourself. We’ll work to develop tools that you can utilize in between our sessions, and truths for you to hold on to, so that you can have more hope. I’ll help you learn to pay attention to the ways that your body is trying to communicate to you. I find that the people who make the most progress usually do some reflection between sessions.
I love working with women and femmes who are dealing with anxiety, mood issues, life stress, ADHD/neurospiciness, or just a general sense that things aren't going as planned. Maybe you have "gifted child syndrome" - you were the top of your class all throughout school, but now that you're in college, things are falling apart. Maybe the decades worth of masking, overfunctioning, and prioritizing others' needs above yours are finally starting to get to you. Maybe you're a STEM major and you're feeling crushed by the weight of the world's expectations. Or maybe your anxiety, depression, or other "symptoms" aren't responding to medication or traditional therapy because there is underlying trauma that needs to be addressed. Whether you're looking for a compassionate ear, a space to explore the challenges of school and identity, or a guide to help you process untouched wounds, I'm here for you. You're invited to reach out to me to set up a free 15-20 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. I hope to hear from you soon.
Most people who look at you might never know how much you are struggling. Your pattern of holding it all in, staying busy, or pulling away from others has worked well enough to get you through… till now. Now, it feels more like you’re caught in an endless maze of thoughts and worries, or like there’s a weighted blanket dragging you down. When anxiety or depression are present, everything in life can feel more difficult. I am a trauma-informed therapist specializing in helping you unpack those things that connect your past and present to build a more fulfilling, authentic future. I take a practical and straightforward approach to therapy and am comfortable with discomfort if it means making progress. As your therapist, I will take the time to see things from your point of view. You know your life best, so I will listen and understand. My sessions are open, honest, and thoughtful. Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to pretend. I will work to understand the real you and use my experience to help you.
Hi! I'm Diane, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I have experience working alongside individuals with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and adjustment concerns. I employ an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness and problem-solving techniques, along with others, to assist you. I am not certified in a specific approach; however, I have had training and experience with each. I am grateful you have started the journey to begin mental health counseling; I can understand how scary this may be for you. I am here to help you process situations and build skills to aid you in overcoming your challenges. I believe one of my greatest strengths is building rapport to determine how to best be present for you, through empathy and active listening, in a judgment free space, and walk with you on this journey. Counseling is not a 'one size fits all' endeavor and I will spend time getting to know you to determine what best fits you as an individual.

Are You Looking For A Therapist Who Will Involve Your Entire Being, Mind, Body and Soul, in Your Healing Journey? There is a powerful connection between the body and the brain, and both the body and the brain rely on that connection to heal. With that, I utilize yoga practices to help guide you to integrate your mind and body. Unlike talk therapy, where we explore your thoughts and feelings on a topic or event, Yoga + Therapy encourages you to feel the body sensations that hold wisdom about that topic or event. Your body has an opinion, it's time to listen to it! I specialize in working with women and BIPOC - two groups I identify with and deeply care about. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and yoga teacher with specific training in trauma-informed practices. Yoga + Therapy strengthens the ability to be present in the mind, in the body, and ultimately, in life. If you are looking for traditional talk therapy only, I integrate meditation and mindfulness in sessions to help you further explore areas in your life. I am an Out of Network Provider (Self Pay/Private Pay). Please visit my website www.mindbodysoulcounseling.com to learn more about my practice and schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. I can't wait to work with you! There is a powerful connection between the body and the brain, and both the body and the brain rely on that connection to heal. I emphasize the importance of being comfortable in your own body. Yoga + Therapy strengthens the ability to be present in the mind, in the body, and ultimately, in life.
Hi! I’m Kimberly Carlin, LPC, and I work with women over 18 who want support navigating the ups and downs of life. Between work, relationships, family responsibilities, and personal growth, it’s normal to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to cope. I help women work through: * Anxiety, stress, and burnout * Relationship challenges and setting boundaries * Trauma or emotional abuse * Grief or major life transitions * Body image and disordered eating * Pressure to be “perfect” or meet high expectations * Life transitions such as parenting, career changes, or caregiving responsibilities Here’s what therapy with me looks like: CBT: Helps you spot unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier ones. ACT: Teaches you to accept feelings and focus on what matters most. Somatic Therapy: Uses your body to release stored stress, tension, and anxiety. IFS (Internal Family Systems): Helps you explore different parts of yourself and understand conflicting thoughts, emotions, or behaviors. Inner Child Work: Helps you understand how past experiences shape your feelings today. EMDR: A specialized approach that helps painful memories feel less overwhelming. Christian Counseling and Prayer (optional): For women who desire, therapy can integrate Biblical principles, prayer, and exploring God’s perspective of who you are to guide healing, self-worth, and decision-making. I provide online therapy and am licensed in multiple states, so you can continue care even if you travel, work remotely or move. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, gain clarity, and build tools to navigate life with more confidence, self-compassion, and faith-based guidance if desired. Whether you’re feeling stressed, struggling with relationships, wanting to process trauma, or navigating major life transitions, I’m here to support you.
