I'm also a big believer in nature being innately healing as well as it sometimes being easier to talk while outside or moving. So, I offer hiking or walking or sitting outdoors while conducting therapy. I like to work with anxiety, including OCD and social anxiety, depression, ADHD management, trauma, self esteem development, body image issues and communication skills. I often work with immigrants or children of immigrants and we work to overcome intergenerational trauma. We work to develop empathy and strength to create new paths.

Being a student is a tough time of transition. There are alot of feelings that are swirling around, along with having to "stay on top of all of your academics and/or sports". For many students, it is the first time living without parents/guardians. You have to deal with faculty, and manage expectations from others as well as yourself. College life can be fun, but at the same time very stressful! Sometimes the stress causes other problems to pop up that you have not had to deal with before, or perhaps you did, but on a manageable level. Counseling can be an opportunity to talk through alot of these frustrations, and challenges. It can be a time to also find out about other resources in the world that can be helpful.
