“You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. Sometimes, healing begins the moment you decide to give yourself a chance.” Therapy is not just about identifying or correcting what’s “wrong”—it’s about rediscovering strengths that are already within you. While we may explore the pain, trauma, and roadblocks of your past and present, we will also work together on identifying what’s working, nurturing your strengths, and helping you build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. As a clinician, I work from a place of deep empathy, lived experience, and belief in the resilience of the human spirit. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and centered on you as the expert of your own story. I bring a diverse clinical background across mental and behavioral health settings—ranging from inpatient work to community-based care coordination—and I’m passionate about making healing accessible, practical, and rooted in real life. My role is to help you get clear on your goals, discover what’s already working (even if it doesn’t feel like it yet), and explore new ways to respond to the challenges you’re facing. I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, ACT, and internal family systems, all within a trauma informed approach. I tailor sessions to the individual in front of me—because I know there’s no linear path to healing. Whether you’re navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, shame, life transitions, chronic stress, or simply feeling stuck; our work together will honor where you’ve been while helping you reimagine where you’re going. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, and I have a special interest in helping those going through personal reinvention, major life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by their roles and expectations. I hold space for those who may be struggling with self-esteem, burnout, interpersonal conflict, or simply trying to figure out who they are in a world that doesn’t always make that easy. I am a passionate advocate for maintaining recovery from substance use and eating disorders. I am an LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming therapist, and I strive to provide culturally responsive, anti-oppressive care rooted in social justice. I understand the importance of autonomy and authenticity, especially for those who have felt misunderstood or unseen. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to show up as your full self—messy, uncertain, brilliant, and worthy of healing.

Hello, I am a therapist with an extensive history of working with clients of all ages who have had to deal with a multitude of mental health symptoms, or just difficulty managing the conflicts that arise for all of us as we attempt to find joy in a complicated world. My style is to be collaborative while providing culturally responsive therapeutic services to children, adolescents, families, and individuals. I look forward to working with clients to enhance their innate abilities to create positive change in their lives, with their relationships, and within the community they interactive with. I feel it is my responsibility to be flexible in meeting the needs of all clients who come to me for therapy. Together we will discover the style of learning that best suits you in order to create an environment safe enough to address the concerns which bring you to therapy at this time. I believe, that for many, reaching out and asking for help, support, or sharing inner concerns can seem like an unattainable process. I also believe that once a person makes the decision to reach out they begin to feel a sense of relief and hope. I feel honored to provide therapy and to be a part of someone's choice to engage in the therapeutic process.

The Raimy Psychology Clinic at the University of Colorado was founded in 1960 and has been providing affordable psychological treatment for over 40 years to adults in the Boulder County area, including University of Colorado students, faculty and staff. The Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado maintains the Raimy Clinic as a training site for graduate students in the Clinical Psychology PhD program. Graduate student therapists provide therapeutic services and are supervised by licensed psychologists and other experienced mental health professionals. The primary goal of the Clinic is to provide an introduction to clinical training for clinical psychology graduate students. The secondary goal of the Clinic is the provision of quality psychological services to the community at large. An additional goal of the Clinic is the integration of research and clinical training. Because of the training function of the Clinic, we offer psychological services at substantially reduced fees, assessed on the basis of a sliding scale, with low flat rates for full-time CU Boulder students, faculty, or staff. We are a fee for service clinic and do not accept insurance. Credit card payments are made through a secure online system. Contact the intake coordinator for more information about our services and rates. We are committed to providing services to those who are currently underserved, including economically-disadvantaged, ethnic and sexual minorities, as well as families. College can be exciting, meaningful, and full of opportunity-but it can also feel overwhelming at times. If you are struggling with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or uncertainty about your future, you don't have to navigate it alone. I enjoy working with college students and young adults in helping them manage the different life stresses that occur during these times. Therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself and develop practical tools for moving forward. My approach is collaborative and evidenced based. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and insight-oriented therapy to help you reduce anxiety while building resilience, confidence, and self compassion. Therapy can help you quiet the constant self criticism, improve relationships, , make decisions with greater confidence, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I am licensed in California and Colorado. My physical office is in San Diego for those who prefer in-person. I also offer telemedicine appointments. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength. I would be glad to help you navigate this important chapter of your life with greater clarity, confidence, and peace

Many of the clients I work best with are young adults navigating major transitions — starting college, adjusting to new expectations, exploring identity, building relationships, or trying to figure out what comes next. I previously worked at CU Boulder supporting students through the Early Intervention Program and Collegiate Recovery Community, and I understand many of the unique challenges that come with this stage of life. My approach combines traditional therapy with mindfulness and body awareness to help you better understand yourself, manage stress and anxiety, and build a stronger connection with your thoughts, emotions, and needs. Many people come to therapy understanding why they feel stuck but still struggling to create lasting change. Together, we’ll slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and develop greater self-compassion, flexibility, and choice. If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I’d be honored to support you. A free 20-minute consultation is an opportunity to see if working together feels like the right fit.

I believe that in order to truly be able to help my clients I must always present as my authentic self. What that means is that you can expect me to share my honest thoughts and opinions, to be direct & concise, to incorporate humor as often as possible, and I won’t shy away from discomfort or conflict. While at the same time balancing that by providing you with unconditional positive regard, empathy, and support. I 100% believe that in order for therapy to be effective the client-therapist relationship must be genuine and both parties must carry mutual respect and trust for each other. This is something I strive to create and build-up starting from our first several interactions; as well as something I work hard to maintain up until our very last session. I am trauma informed therapist that specializes in working with professionals in the helping field (ie. first responders, educators, nurses, therapists, etc), with parents and children with behavioral issues, and have extensive experience working with BIPOC, immigrants, and AAPI communities. In our first session, we'll talk through what brought you in and get clear on what you want to walk away with — so we're aligned on what this space is for and what my role will be. Together we'll build a plan with intention and direction, not open-ended sessions that drift. Over time, the goal isn't just to feel less anxious or triggered. It's to trust yourself again, hold your story with compassion, and move through the world without needing to translate yourself.
