I strive to hold your stories with care, empathy, & compassion.
It can be a difficult decision or intimidating process to begin or reengage in counseling, so I am glad you are visiting my profile for the chance to learn more about me. If you are feeling stuck in your life and looking for some insight, this is a very relatable experience. I often see clients who are tired of experiencing stress, confusion, anxiety or panic, depression, lack of enjoyment, etc. These experiences may come as a result of painful or traumatic life experiences, fear of the unknown, oppressive social messages or expectations, major life changes, loss and grief... As someone who has participated in counseling as a client, I am committed to a relationship with you built on mutual trust and compassion. My goal is to help guide your ability to tap into your inner wisdom, trust yourself, and release stuck emotions, so you can feel liberated from the things that have gotten in your way or weighed you down. My greatest wish for all human beings is to experience freedom and joy. I know that taking the first step to reach out can be the hardest part, so I hope to provide reassurance and make your efforts feel worthwhile. I'll look forward to hearing from you to see if we would like to work together.
I work with young adults who are navigating anxiety, overwhelm, perfectionism, body image concerns, and challenges in their relationship with food. Many of the individuals I work with are high-achieving and driven, but find themselves struggling with stress, self-doubt, burnout, or feeling like they are never quite doing enough. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic. Together, we explore the factors impacting your mental health—including relationships, daily habits, societal pressures, and life transitions—while helping you develop practical tools to manage difficult emotions, build self-confidence, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life. I strive to provide a supportive space where you can show up authentically, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change.
I'm Dr. Chantelle Walker, and I’m so glad you’re considering working with us. I absolutely love what I do and take great pride in creating a space where my clients can show up as their authentic selves. More importantly, I meet them exactly where they are. The therapeutic journey is a profound experience, and I never take it for granted. I laugh with my clients, support them through challenges, and sometimes even share a tear as they reach milestones they once thought were impossible. My goal is to ensure that no one feels alone—I work hard to provide a safe space where self-care and mindfulness can take center stage. I work with adults (18+) facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, work stress, coping strategies, ADHD, attachment styles, and relationships.
Sometimes life is just hard, you are going along, and everything is fine, when, suddenly, wham!...everything changes, and leaves you asking, "now what?" You were taught how to do Algebra, but not how to deal with the situation you find yourself in. We want you to know that you are amazing, and infinitely capable, and that sometimes you just need a little bit of help learning how to deal with life's curve balls. Most of our work has focused on treating trauma, and working through the hard things that have happened in a client's life. We have assisted many individuals process through and overcome childhood trauma, sexual assault, neglect, abuse, abandonment, anxiety, depression, and many of the other problems created by trauma. We believe in treating the whole person. While you may come to us because you are struggling with emotional concerns, we believe that the mind and body are connected, and will work with you to help you improve your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Are you feeling overwhelmed? anxious? depressed? Is your mind racing and your body tense? Wonder why you can't just feel happy? Therapy looks a lot like a conversation with a good friend. But the gift is that it's a one-way friendship where it's all about you! You get to talk about whatever you want and need to say. I get to listen carefully, reflect what I hear to make sure you feel understood, affirm and encourage your strengths, and ask questions to clarify or help you think more deeply about your concerns. I have significant experience working with anxiety, depression, interpersonal concerns, and wellness goals. I believe that you are the expert on you, but we all need help to move through this life. I can offer you support, encouragement, an outside perspective, and space to explore. While life presents challenges, I believe that you are fundamentally strong and resilient. I'd love to partner with you on your journey. Please reach out and let's see if we'd be a good fit together.

Hi there! I am a licensed psychologist in Midtown Atlanta. I enjoy helping with anxiety concerns, men's issues/masculinity, relationship and social concerns, and depression, as well as a number of other concerns. I also have extensive experience working with undergraduate and graduate college students. I integrate different approaches, but work mainly using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and relational/interpersonal techniques. Additionally, I specialize in mindfulness-based and self-compassion approaches and the use of mindfulness meditation. My aim in therapy is to create a space of warmth, openness, and support so that we can lean into the difficult areas of your life, work to understand the ways you could grow, and begin to address them. I work actively to help my clients open up to their thoughts and emotions while also helping identify changes they can make to live life more effectively. I am patient, relatable, and flexible in my work, and you'll find that I am a humorous and light-hearted person, too. I also aim to be direct and authentic, giving helpful feedback when appropriate. You ever wondered if there was a therapist out there who truly gets you? Who could relate and understand your experiences being different than the normative society? Well look no further! I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and relational struggles. I have a special passion for supporting geeks, gamers, creatives, alternative individuals, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ clients who often feel like they don’t quite fit the mold. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with elements of geek therapy. My clients often come to me struggling with perfectionism, boundary setting, self-esteem, identity, or body image issues, feeling stuck or overwhelmed in a world that doesn’t always make space for who they are. In our work together, we’ll create that space—judgment-free, collaborative, and affirming. Whether you’re battling your inner critic, processing trauma, or just trying to survive in a neurotypical or cis-normative world, I’m here to support your growth, healing, and self-discovery. Therapy doesn’t have to be sterile or detached—we can bring your fandoms, creativity, and passions into the room as tools for healing.

Hi, I'm Brittany! I'm an Associate Professional Counselor based in Midtown Atlanta, GA. I work primarily with young people and am particularly interested in working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. I typically serve clients working through anxiety, ADHD, depression, general life stress, minority issues, self-harm and suicidality, and more. I desire to help clients individually and focus on each person’s particular needs and wants. I approach therapy from a lens of being open, accepting, and trusting, and I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship. Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, so I'm always happy to chat to see if I might be a good fit for you. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time in nature, crafting, reading, and playing with my cat. I offer a sliding scale rate based on income that ranges from $30-$150, but the median my clients pay is $60. If you'll be paying for yourself without parental assistance, you'll likely be eligible for the $30 rate.
I was a high school teacher and coach for 14 years before becoming a counselor so I work well with students and young people. Many feel pressure to make their time at college "the best time of their lives" but the reality is many find this time of transition difficult and frustrating. Asking for help during difficult moments shows strength and maturity. You don't need to handle these things on your own. We can partner together to find solutions to situations and circumstances that feel overwhelming or confusing. Give me a call and we'll get started.
I believe people have the inherent capacity to heal and grow. To support this change, I provide a nonjudgmental, warm, and collaborative therapeutic space. I will work with you to tap into your strengths, gain insight into behaviors that might currently feel stuck or confusing, and learn skills to empower you to effectively deal with stress and emotional ups and downs. My approach is tailored to your specific goals and circumstances, and typically includes a mixture of traditional “talk” therapy with mindfulness, somatic, and trauma-informed practices. I am committed to an anti-oppressive, inclusive approach that welcomes all experiences. I am licensed to provide telehealth in NY, GA, and FL. I also provide in-person sessions in GA.
