Starting therapy can be a bit daunting and scary. Opening up and being vulnerable to a complete stranger can be challenging. That is why we make it my mission for the process to be pleasant and safe for you. Through various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, our clients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with life’s various obstacles. Our therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide clients with effective tools to help them see the glass as half full instead of half empty.

I believe that each and every one of us is the expert of our own lives, but sometimes we feel overwhelmed and need guidance as we navigate life's challenges. This gets more challenging if you're an LGBTQ+ person in the south, but working with an affirming, competent therapist can make a big difference. I help transgender folx and other members of the LGBTQ+ community explore their identity, develop self-esteem, and improve their relationships. My approach to therapy is queer competent, gender affirming, sex positive, kink affirming, and poly affirming. I strive to create a safe space for my clients to explore their problems fully without fear of judgment. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be able to stand by my clients as they courageously make changes necessary to live fulfilling lives. In addition to individual therapy, I also offer comprehensive assessments and letters of support for transgender folx who are seeking gender-affirming surgeries.

The road to self discovery is scary, and you are taking the first steps in seeking out the right therapist for you. It’s an important investment and you want to make sure you find just the right connection. My approach is deeply personal. Working with each person to learn and identify how they are impacted by the stories of their life and their history. In doing so, we are able to bring out what is truly possible. I believe strongly in the power of our stories. From a very young age, we all start learning things about ourselves and our world. These “life lessons” start to turn into the stories we repeat to ourselves over and over again. They become who we are. Those stories are not always nice and they hold us back. But most importantly, they are often not true! They are the stories we created when we were young and we have retold them to ourselves over and over again in a weird game of telephone with one player.

I help folks ages 18+ in NY, CT, OR, and FL who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. I am a compassionate and nonjudgmental therapist who prioritizes creating a space in which my clients feel “held,” heard, and helped. My approach is personalized, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. My practice is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and utilizes a range of techniques including awareness of sensations in the body, narrative interventions, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and that meaningful transformations take place in the context of safe and supportive relationships, when we feel seen, understood, and accepted unconditionally. Together, we will process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to reduce suffering and increase joy, fulfillment, and success. The bottom line: I meet you where you are—with patience, warmth, kindness, and insight. I will assist in identifying and strengthening your own inner resources and wisdom, so we can work more effectively with challenges and pain on the road to a more satisfying life. Going to a new therapist can be a bit stressful; what will they be like, will they understand me or really be able to help? I often get college students who have tried therapy before and it just didn't work, they do well with me. I use CBT; cognitive behavioral therapy style, give open and honest feedback (don't sit and nod) and have a sense of humor. Graduated from Northeastern, I have been doing this awhile and have some ways of problem solving and really helping. We celebrate your wins and support what you need to be successful. I am always thankful to be invited into your lives to help. This is your journey.

If you're trying to break unhealthy patterns in your life—whether they are things you've learned from your family or habits you’ve noticed in how you treat yourself and others—you’re in the right place. As two first-generation Latina therapists, we understand how hard it can be to figure out what’s not working in your life and try to change it, especially if going to therapy isn't something that's normalized within your family or community. We know that the path you are on can feel isolated and overwhelming. Which is why we created Sin Miedo Counseling - to support cycle-breakers like you. We offer counseling that is warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental so you can feel that you have someone who has your back while you work towards the change you want to see in your life. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or down, we can help by offering strategies to help you regulate your nervous system and challenge that inner critic who is telling you that you don't deserve joy or rest in your life. If you're nervous about starting counseling, that's okay. We got you and we'd be honored to join you in your journey.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist providing virtual therapy, bringing over fifteen years of experience in diverse settings, including outpatient care (both in-person and virtual), middle schools, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential programs, Section 35 commitment facilities, and emergency psychiatric assessments in various environments. I have had the privilege of counseling individuals across the gender spectrum—from ages ten to eighty—addressing a wide range of concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, adjustment disorders, substance use, co-occurring disorders, interpersonal difficulties, and psychotic disorders. My approach to therapy is collaborative and interactive, grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. While I bring extensive training and experience in a variety of evidence-based treatment models, I recognize that true progress comes from a strong and trusting connection between therapist and client. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, I strive to help my clients deepen their self-awareness, cultivate positive self-regard, and develop a sense of balance within themselves and their lives. I view therapy as a partnership—one in which we work together to identify and shift harmful patterns, fostering healthier ways of coping and communicating. Through this process, we explore the experiences that have shaped who you are, creating space for growth and transformation. My therapeutic style is eclectic, incorporating psychodynamic principles, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and other evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual’s needs. My clients will often give me feedback they feel genuinely cared for in our therapeutic relationship. Often, clients will report that they were able to connect with me quickly and expressed surprise that they opened up as much to me, sometimes stating “that’s the first time I’ve ever told anybody that”. Though our work can be challenging, we work at a pace you are comfortable with and I will respect your boundaries.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.
