I have an extensive clinical psychology background and I have treated individuals of all ages for a variety of problems. For the past 20 years my practice has also included working with students from many colleges in the area, including Berklee , Emerson, Northeastern, Harvard, MIT, and a number of other schools. In addition to the problems which students frequently bring to a therapist's office, such as depression, anxiety, issues around self esteem, gender identity, school performance, worries about the future, and relationship problems, the Covid pandemic and the need for remote learning and social distancing has exacerbated many of these already difficult issues. I can usually schedule a first appointment within one or two days of contact. I meet with patients (remotely) via telephone and video telehealth platforms only, Monday through Friday from 7AM to 4 PM. I accept BXBS, Anthem, First Health, among other health plans, and will help with out-of-network needs.

I became a therapist to provide support and affirmation to folks with systemically oppressed identities (e.g., trans and queer folks, ADHDers, kinksters, chronically ill/disabled folks, POC, cis women). I am dedicated to working with individuals facing interpersonal, life, and identity-related challenges, such as navigating gender roles and emerging adulthood (college and grad students welcome!). I collaborate with clients on a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, relationships/dating, boundaries, difference in views/beliefs from family of origin, and imposter syndrome. In my work, I use approaches such as Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients. I like to mix in gentleness, deep exploration, celebration, and the occasional “dad joke” to our work. They received their Masters of Social Work from Salem State University in 2024, having graduated summa cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in 2017. I am a certified Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner. EFT combined with traditional talk therapy is powerfully effective for releasing any distressing emotions, it is easy and non invasive, I lead you through a tapping sequence on the body's meridian points and we can pull up whatever is bothering you and turn it off! I am currently accepting self-pay clients! During therapy sessions, I hold space for people facing all types of life experiences that encompass our collective human experience. Some key areas that I support individuals with are finding relief from anxiety through the cultivation of self-regulation and nervous system support, navigating major life transitions, healing from traumatic events, past or present, and exploring ways of living that are in alignment with one's true desires. I strive to help individuals build a relationship with themselves that are rooted in compassion and self-acceptance. As our imagination becomes activated and absorbed in the freedom of art and play, our linear or rational thinking processes of labeling and making judgments are temporarily suspended. This temporary suspension allows us to access our intuition (heart, center, wisdom, spirit, true self) and deepen awareness of our thoughts, feelings and experiences in life.
