Hello! I am currently accepting new patients. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Colorado. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options. This is a judgement free zone. There is no way you can TMI me! My primary role in our sessions is diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. The role I have in therapy is very small. Most clients are already in therapy or have been referred by therapists to me. All sessions are conducted by tele-medicine. **Offering flexible hours, evening appointments available, also some weekends. **

I strive to provide a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental atmosphere where clients are free to explore their difficulties as well as reconnect with and harness their strengths. I aim to create a space where growth, healing, and transformation can occur. I do this by using a client-centered approach, listening kindly, and offering constructive feedback to help clients challenge self-defeating beliefs and behaviors. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my main theoretical orientation. My goal is to help each individual to access their unique strengths and remove any blockages that are preventing them from attaining their highest state of well-being and becoming their whole selves. I have helped clients learn skills to better manage stress, as well as to recover from depression, anxiety and substance use using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. Although Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my main orientation, I understand that each person's needs are unique and I apply other modalities including insight orientated therapy and mindfulness. I provide both short and longer-term therapy depending on your individual needs. I have specialized experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, transgender and gender-diverse individuals.

Hi! I am a licensed clinician who supports clients struggling with any and all of the stressors of our time with a focus on creating a nurturing therapy space.
My name is Elizabeth Barley. I am dual-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have experience working in an inpatient caring for children and adults. I also have other various areas that I have worked in from the hospital setting, home health, and palliative/hospice care. I received both my Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner degrees from Purdue Global University. While attending school I worked at an inpatient mental health clinic and worked remotely as a family nurse practitioner. My focus is on the treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other chronic mental health illnesses through psychiatric assessment, medication management,t, and brief psychotherapeutic intervention. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illnesses through supportive education in a safe environment. A client can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals and education about diagnosis and available treatment options. I have the pleasure of working alongside many skilled and experienced clinicians and am happy to collaborate and coordinate care with them when appropriate to the clients’ needs.
I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Thoughtful Psychiatry, P.C. I provide psychotherapy and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of stress related conditions. As therapist and prescriber, I try to pave the way for my clients to tell their stories and feel truly understood. I strive to provide a safe environment that allows for self-expression. While diagnosis can be helpful, I believe that each individual enters treatment with a unique set of circumstances, and that it is important to focus on the needs of each individual rather than focus only on his or her symptoms. I am interested in treating patients with all types of conditions, but have a special affinity for working with clients who suffer from anxiety and trauma-related conditions. Currently, I am accepting clients primarily for medication management. Clients seeking medication management should have a therapist in place.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or scary. I believe healing works best when we can laugh, reflect, and be real together. I create a space where you can bring your full self, messy, hopeful, curious, and everything in between. Whether you’re navigating stress, identity, relationships, or just figuring out who you want to be, we’ll work side by side to uncover your strengths and help you move forward. As a social work intern, I’m passionate about supporting people through life’s in-between moments, the chapters that feel uncertain, overwhelming, or full of possibility. I bring an easygoing, compassionate style to therapy, blending evidence-based practices with genuine human connection. My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental: think of me as both a guide and a co-pilot. I work with individuals who want to explore identity, manage stress and anxiety, process life transitions, and deepen self-understanding. I also care deeply about working with young adults, students, and marginalized communities, helping folks feel seen and supported in spaces that often overlook them. Therapy with me is not about being ‘perfect’, it’s about exploring your story, building resilience, and finding ways to grow that actually feel authentic to you."
I work with clients from all over the world on a wide variety of issues including depression, trauma and life transitions. Our sessions will focus on your sharing what's important to you and progress with my guidance on how to delve deeper to get to the heart and source of the problems. Hello! My background is working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in depression, self-esteem, anxiety, as well as mood and personality disorders like bipolar and borderline personality disorders. Sessions lead with a person-centered approach and evidence-based practices. My style is warm and fun, partly so you can feel like you took a breath of fresh air, at the same time as reaching your goals. I value the importance of trust when working with my clients. Together, we will create an individualized plan where you approve each decision. The purpose would be to have clear goals, monitor progress, and efficiency. I recently started my own practice, after being an associate therapist for a group for 3+ years. My experience also includes working for Youth and Family Services, child protection, a homeless shelter, and inpatient care. Environments that emphasized the importance of providing compassionate and quality care, with confidence to handle any complex situation. Anyone who tries to make the commitment to start therapy deserves a lot of credit! In my experience, what sets apart a good from a great therapist is having an innate ability to empathize and listen. I make this standard. There is a special purpose in feeling seen. For more info schedule a free consult! I look forward to meeting!
