As a therapist, I pride myself in the confidentiality and the general skills I can offer you like any other therapist. However, what you can expect with my practice goes beyond the standard therapeutic experience. My practice is person-centered and non-judgmental across several subjects, domains, circumstances, and themes. I also pride myself in being multi-dimensional in identity politics; I am Trans-Affirmative, LGBTQ+ Affirmative, Sex-positive, Body positive, Kink-positive, and more. I approach the world and my work from a lens of inclusivity rather than exclusivity. We all deserve quality care regardless of how we identify. Reach out for your free consult. Please be aware that while this site asks me to include my initial and ongoing session fees, it does not allow me to clarify my sliding scale; please feel free to inquire about that if needed. I would be honored to take this journey with you!

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Farmington Hills, MI

Hi, I am Marilyn: A dual board certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner that is passionate about holistic and integrative health practices as the foundations for sustainable health and wellness. I blend traditional medication management psychiatry with functional and integrative approaches that get to the root of your challenges—not just the symptoms. My care goes beyond medication. We’ll explore how nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, and relationships impact your mental health, and together, we'll create a plan that fits your life and goals. I help adolescents, young adults, and mid-career professionals overwhelmed from cycles of anxiety, depression, and trauma —so they can feel calm, focused, and whole again. Through an integrative approach—blending medication management, therapy, supplements, and lifestyle coaching—I guide my clients in quieting negative self-talk and reclaiming their confidence, clarity, purpose, and joy. I also combine evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to learn how your thoughts, feelings and behavior impact each other. Together, we will use this knowledge to shift unhelpful thought patterns, build motivation, and take empowered steps forward—at your own pace. Clients describe me as compassionate, curious, holistic and grounded. I listen deeply, hold space without judgment, and work collaboratively so you feel seen, supported, and in control of your healing journey. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, holistic and integrative approach to mental wellness that honors both science and your story—you’re in the right place. Let’s work together to restore clarity, balance, and peace from the inside out.

College can be an exciting time, but it also comes with challenges—academic stress, big life transitions, relationship struggles, and pressure to figure out the future. Many students I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to manage their emotions and responsibilities. Some struggle with anxiety that makes it hard to focus, depression that drains their motivation, or past experiences that continue to impact their daily life. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I specialize in helping young adults work through anxiety, depression, and trauma using an integrative, practical approach. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, develop strategies to help you feel more in control, and work toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, gain clarity, and build confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Dealing with anxiety and depression can be challenging, but working with a clinician can provide relief by offering coping strategies, emotional support, and guidance tailored to each individual's unique needs. How I contribute to my patient's needs is to provide a safe and comfortable space by listening without judgment, respecting confidentiality, and encouraging open communication. These elements help create a healing environment where my patients feel supported and empowered to manage daily life more effectively.

As a dedicated grief therapist, my primary focus lies in offering support and guidance to individuals grappling with the profound impact of chronic illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, and loss. My practice is open to individuals across all age groups, acknowledging that grief and its accompanying challenges do not discriminate by age. My core objective is to assist my clients in navigating the significant changes and upheavals in their lives brought on by their unique circumstances. I firmly believe in the power of a strengths-based perspective to foster resilience and healing. Central to my practice is the development and reinforcement of healthy coping mechanisms, which are crucial for managing the intense emotions and challenges that accompany grief and loss. I am committed to helping clients identify and correct cognitive distortions that may hinder their healing process. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual, recognizing that the path to healing is as unique as the person walking it. I hold a deep-seated belief that no one should have to navigate the terrain of grief alone. In my role as a therapist, I am committed to being that supportive presence for my clients, offering a non- judgmental space to heal.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
St. Clair Shores, MI

Hello and welcome! My name is Elizabeth Falzon and I am a fully licensed therapist and the owner of Apricity Therapy Services in St. Clair Shores. A little bit about myself, I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2017 with my undergraduate degree in Social Work. In 2018 I graduated from Michigan State University with my masters in Social Work. I love my job and I love working with my clients. I particularly enjoy working with college age people. I have a lot of experience working with people diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. Personally, I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was in 5th grade, which I feel gives me a unique perspective when working with this population. I'm trained multiple therapy interventions including DBT and PE. DBT stands for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and was a therapy originally designed to treat Borderline Personality Disorder, but has since been shown to be effective with many other diagnoses. PE stands for Prolonged Exposure Therapy. This is a therapy used to treat PTSD. I am also a trauma informed therapist. If you are at all interested in meeting with me I would love to schedule a free 15 minute over-the-phone consultation to see if we would be a good match for each other. The best way to contact me is through email. I offer both telehealth services and in-person services in St. Clair Shores.
