My passion for counseling developed from my own journey with chronic migraines, trauma, and relationships. I enjoy working with couples and adults on a wide range of issues including stress, trauma, communication and relationships, anxiety, phobias, depression, chronic pain, insomnia, identity, mild disordered eating, confidence, or just feeling “stuck” and dissatisfied with one’s direction in life. In collaboration with the client, I tailor the treatment plan and counseling approach to each client’s unique needs. There may be points in our lives where circumstances, relationships or life events are impacting our well-being. My goal is to be a collaborative partner and a support as we navigate through the process of self-discovery, recovery and healing. It takes courage to take the first step and I want to respect and honor the vulnerability that comes with the process. However, there is hope and each client brings their inherent strengths and experience to the process. I work with various therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I also use other evidenced-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI), somatic and mindfulness-based practices to best address the needs of each client. I am passionate about working with clients experiencing life transitions, depression, communication challenges, relationships issues, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, family issues, peer relationships, social connection, and young adult issues. I value working with students and enjoy helping others navigate what can be a challenging stage in life. Your journey is meaningful, and I am excited to share the process of discovery and growth with you and be a support by offering tools and skills to help you navigate through to reach your goals. I invite you to contact me today.
Melissa Goldstein-Boswell
I have 15 years of experience as an LCSW-C supporting, educating and holding emotional space for young adults and their families. I have post graduate training with a Certification in Child and Adolescent Therapy, a Certification in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and am a Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional. I am also trained as an ADHD Coach for college students and young adults. I am a Certified Mental Coach for high school and college athletes. I work collaboratively with young adults and their families dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, family conflicts, sexuality, and childhood traumas. I partner with students and schools to support clients with ADHD and educational issues. I believe in meeting the client where they are and looking for therapeutic strategies that fit their lifestyle and background. Mental health is very personal, based on client experiences. I see therapy as a tool to help client identify strengths and teach effective coping strategies and skills they can apply to their lives now and for future struggles. I consider myself fortunate to be able to work in a profession that I truly love and I consider a privilege to be invited into my clients' inner lives, and to travel this journey with them through healing, change, and self-empowerment. I see therapy as a process of identifying strengths and struggles and teaching clients to harness their own power.

Jacob Yarber with Life in Bloom Therapy
Hi! I work with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and stress. If you’ve tried therapy before, and are familiar with intellectualizing your emotions, maybe you haven’t allowed yourself to feel your emotions. Many times, our bodies send us signals, and it’s up to use if we listen to those signals. I also utilize EMDR throughout my approach in therapy.
Monica Fields
Hi, I’m Monica Fields, LCSW, PMHC. I work with multicultural and first-generation young adults, as well as new and expecting parents, helping them navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions such as adjusting to college. Using Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), ACT, and mindfulness-based tools, I support clients in understanding relationship patterns, managing emotions, and reconnecting with their values. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth—I create a space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward in your life with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re adjusting to parenthood, balancing cultural expectations, or exploring who you want to be, I’m here to help you navigate these challenges with self-compassion and practical strategies.

Hardworking, ambitious, fucking exhausted. I work with women (18–30) who look like they have it together but are absolutely depleting themselves to stay that way. They’re responsible, creative, used to handling a lot…but they’re tired of overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling like no matter how hard they work, it’s never enough. Some have anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma histories. Others just know something feels off, that life feels heavier than it should. Often, they’re great at coping on the outside, which can make it hard to admit they’re struggling at all. But let’s be honest: Appearing “fine” is a full-time job. In therapy, we slow things down on purpose. We look at the patterns you’ve been stuck in — people-pleasing, avoidance, self-criticism — and figure out what’s actually driving them. We work with your nervous system instead of fighting against it. We build practical tools that help you move forward in your life. My style is warm, direct, & honest. I care deeply about my clients and will absolutely challenge you when it matters. I use EMDR, ACT, & DBT skills in ways that are personal and actually useful.

Lessons Learned Therapy, PLLC
You are doing the most! If it feels like there is no good news right now, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe you feel like you're tired of talking about what is bothering you and you want to start feeling better. Therapy is a safe place where you can talk about your feelings. This is a judgment-free zone and welcomes all who wish to expand their sense of self. My role is to connect with you so that you can experience your thoughts and feelings in a way that is different from how you do it at home or with your friends. I look forward to meeting you and listening to everything you have to say.
