Most of my clients are the ones who hold it all together. Thoughtful, capable, high-achieving — and quietly overwhelmed. If anxiety, OCD, or old patterns are running the show beneath the surface, and you're ready to actually do something about it, this is a space for that. I blend CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches — not a one-size-fits-all formula, but a mix built around what you actually need. We build concrete skills for managing anxiety in real life while also getting to the root of the patterns keeping you stuck. You don't have to keep carrying the mental load alone. Reach out today — let's move past getting by and build something that actually holds. *Insurance & Fees* I am in-network with Aetna and Northwell Direct. For all other major insurance companies, I am an out of network provider. My office provides a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement and we will assist you in verifying your benefits to make the process as seamless as possible. I also offer a sliding scale rate for those in need. Please reach out to learn more about how we can start this work together.

Hi, I am Ebony Booker, a Social Work graduate from Fordham University and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. More specifically I am someone who helps to restore balance when life’s most important priorities can get you off track. Being able to put the pieces together when things fall apart has been my niche in working with others over the past two decades. I understand what it is like to have the daily demands of work, family, relationships, school, extracurricular activities all vying for the same amount of attention in one day. It can seem like they are stacking up like a Jenga puzzle. During this time, when demands are high and your energy is low it may feel like things are off balance. From my many years in the field working with individuals I know that you can get back to a sense of oneness and focus. If you are ready to do the work, you will be surprised and encouraged at how much you are capable of. By implementing the necessary tools to manage day to day stressors. The growth you see will be something you did not know existed. I know that each one of us can make the change in our lives. If you are ready to understand what is holding you back and to carve a path out to begin your journey, then give me a call at 404-707-5743 or drop me an email at essentialwellnessandconsulting@gmail.com.

Hi I'm Anna. I'm experienced in therapy/coaching with Neurodivergent young adults and folks living with Disability/chronic illness. I know how feeling misunderstood and other-ed can be deeply challenging, especially if you navigate the world with a unique set of experiences or marginalized experiences. I know what it's like to navigate the world from that position, especially with regards to Disability, Neurodivergence, Queer identity, and complex trauma. I honor my clients' lived experiences and cultural contexts that they come from, tailor my approach and range of therapeutic tools to fit you and your needs, not the other way around. My clinical practice involves an eclectic range of tools and modalities tailored to your needs with a person-centered, trauma competent, Neurodivergent-Affirming, and feminist foundation - along with DBT, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, attachment-based, relational, mindfulness/meditation, and more. I provide psychotherapy, life & communication coaching. I work to empower folks through self-compassion, clarity, tangible tools to encourage growth, and affirming care that meets you where you are with an understanding of how marginalization and identity intersect with our wellbeing and bodyminds. The Grief & Bereavement Club is the worst club ever, and we all join it eventually – but it doesn't have to be the loss of a loved one that brings us there. My interest is in working with anyone going through a major life change or loss. Whether it's the loss of a person, a pet, a home, or a job, I want to work with you to learn how to live in this new reality of your life. I'm a therapist specializing in grief counseling for those experiencing loss of any kind, be it a loved one, a relationship, a profession, a home, a sense of self, or a terminal illness. Whatever brought you to therapy, I don't care. I'm just glad you're here. I'm honored to be part of your journey, whatever you wish to work on. My goal as a therapist is to help you navigate whatever has brought us together. For those experiencing grief or facing the end of life, we may draw on approaches like Meaning Making, Dignity Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and even Play Therapy. No matter the modality, we’ll look at therapy as a collaborative exercise, and work together to find what you respond to. We'll approach your journey from session to session. Some weeks you may need structure, other times you may just need to be in the moment with someone who listens. We're going to roll with it together, and you can expect some levity along the way. There are so many serious things that bring people to this room; sometimes a little laughter makes all the difference. Before becoming a therapist, I volunteered at domestic abuse emergency shelters and worked as a padded instructor for women's self-defense companies. After a series of personal losses, I found I had gained fluency in the language of grief, and felt called to be of service to those experiencing their own. I've been a martial artist since I was five years old, with belts in Krav Maga, Tang Soo Do, and Eskrima. You'll often find me on the subway reading my book of the month, usually on the way to a theater, a convention, or a renaissance fair.

Are you navigating life between two worlds, balancing family and cultural expectations with your own sense of self? Perhaps you're a child of immigrants, first-generation, or someone far from home asking deeper questions about who you are and where you belong. I'm a bilingual (English/Tagalog) psychotherapist specializing in depth-oriented, Jungian therapy. I work with Filipino Americans, Asian Americans, immigrants, and first-generation individuals doing the meaningful, sometimes difficult work of building an authentic identity, one that honors where they come from while making room for who they are becoming. My approach is exploratory and relational. Drawing from Jungian psychology, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic awareness, I work with the unconscious patterns, cultural conditioning, and intergenerational stories that shape your present life. This includes dream work, active imagination, and close attention to the body's wisdom alongside the mind's. If this resonates, I'd love to connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation — reach out and let's talk. I also offer Walk & Talk therapy for clients in the Cupertino and Silicon Valley area - sessions conducted outdoors in nature for those who find that movement supports their process. Ask me about it when you reach out.

College and early adulthood come with a lot of messy, in-between moments — anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, identity questions, and transitions nobody fully prepares you for. I'm David, and this is exactly the stuff I work with. My background is a little different: I hold degrees in both Neuroscience and Social Work, which means I bring both brain-based science and genuine human warmth to every session. I use IFS, mindfulness, and somatic work to help you understand your patterns — and I'm equally comfortable with harm reduction or a focus on full abstinence, depending on what's right for you. Expect some humor and creativity along the way too. No judgment, no scripts. Just a real conversation. Reach out whenever you're ready. *Insurance & Fees* I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and Northwell Direct in NY only, and out of network with all other major insurance companies in NY and FL. My office provides a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement and we will assist you in verifying your benefits to ensure the process is seamless. I also offer a sliding scale rate for those in need. Please reach out to learn more about how we can make therapy work for you.

Much of my practice has centered around understanding the unique complexities surrounding identity development and interpersonal relationships. I work with a wide range of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, grief, and trauma. I specialize in relationship distress, life transitions, communication challenges, sexuality and gender related issues, and consensual non-monogamy/polyamory. I believe that transformative therapy begins with a collaborative and trusting therapeutic partnership, one that highlights the unique knowledge, strengths, and skill sets of each client entering the room. Through trauma-informed practice, I aim to facilitate a safe and affirming therapeutic space. I recognize the ways in which institutions, systems, and intersectional identities impact individual experiences and overall wellbeing. My integrated approach to psychotherapy is based upon person-centered, existential, and attachment-based perspectives. I am passionate about exploring the ways in which attachment and trauma impact how an individual’s identity is formed.

Hi, I’m Mirabelle. I bring a warm and patient curiosity to my clients that creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore what has brought you into therapy. Before working in private practice, I was a hospice social worker supporting people facing terminal illnesses and their caregivers. Accompanying people through illness and death has given me a reverence for existential questions and transitions––for what it really means to be alive. I understand therapy as a space to explore these questions. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, which means we will discover how your early experiences and relationships, as well as your unconscious life, shape your present. We will move at the pace that feels right for you. Together, we will find the words to make meaning out of your experience. Our work will help to reduce the symptoms that are causing you problems as well as deepen your connection to yourself and others. I am guided by anti-oppressive principles. In addition to my work in hospice, I have worked in community based and outpatient mental health settings with queer folks, people with serious mental illness and personality disorders, and complex trauma. I enjoy working with people who have received mental health diagnoses, and themes related to illness and medical trauma.

I am a licensed therapist with 15 years experience - I have extensive experience working with young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues (peers + intimate partner relationships), and exploring parts of their identity. My intention is to provide you with a safe, nonjudgmental, and affirming therapeutic space. We will identify your strengths and explore strategies that can facilitate the effective changes that you are seeking. I am trained in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I will help you understand your patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting. I provide individual psychotherapy services for adults and adolescents in New York. I also, offer documentation for gender affirming procedures depending on client need. You made a big step! Reach out to me by email and we can set up a time to talk (I offer free 15 minute consult calls). I take a friendly and warm approach to getting to know you. Individuals who find Advika Anand, therapist and EMDR practitioner, are often feeling stuck—trapped in cycles of overthinking, stress, or sadness. Life may feel like sinking in quicksand, with thoughts and emotions pulling them deeper the more they struggle. Many notice recurring patterns—emotional, physical, or relational—that feel difficult to change, no matter how much effort they have made. Advika’s approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in both somatic and evidence-based practices. She works alongside clients to create a sense of safety, build self-awareness, and gently explore the root causes of distress at a pace that feels comfortable. Central to her process is recognizing the deep connection between mind and body. Drawing from EMDR therapy, relational psychotherapy, mindfulness, and DBT, Advika helps clients regulate emotions, heal from past experiences, and strengthen their relationships—with themselves and others. Her work often involves processing trauma, building emotional resilience, and developing practical skills for personal growth. Advika believes that healing is a two-step process: addressing sources of distress while also equipping clients with mental and emotional tools to thrive.

Our group is somewhat unique in that we are experiential therapists. This means that in addition to addressing emotions, beliefs, and thoughts, we also incorporate the body, brain and nervous system into our therapy. We help people learn somatic techniques for settling anxiety and building more regulation. We are all trauma-trained, gentle, and nonjudgmental therapists who value the client-therapist relationship and can provide support for navigating early adulthood, independence/dependence, relationships, and adjustment to college.
