Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Are you proud of your achievements but still feel there is a disconnect between how you want to live your life and how things are shaping up for you now, almost like you are watching a movie or living someone else’s life? It can be hard to even start a conversation about how to alleviate the way you’re feeling, when you are unsure about how the disconnection occurred and what exactly the disconnect is. I’m here to help you figure that out. I am passionate about empowering clients to figure out their own unique truth, joy, and fulfillment in life. Therapy can be the space for you to do exactly that. Sometimes the anxiety or depression we face is a symptom of a disconnection from our deeper selves, so a large focus of my work with clients is to empower them to find their voice, their truth, and to deepen their sense of congruence. I was drawn to therapy from my prior career having seen firsthand the enormous value therapy can bring us in improving both the quality and enjoyment of our lives. My approach is supportive, curious, and collaborative so that you can explore your experiences in a safe and culturally sensitive environment. Every client’s needs are completely unique, and no one is defined by their symptoms or challenges, so I adapt my approach based on your goals and objectives. I believe that honesty and directness are essential skills for therapists so that our clients can recognize patterns that don’t serve them well. I will share the truth of what I’m seeing with kindness and respect. Sometimes this means exploring uncomfortable experiences or feelings, and I will be your partner as you come to a deeper understanding of these experiences, and free yourself of their hold on you. I invite you to start by imagining what the best outcome could look like for you, and we will go from there.

We assess each client's environment, family, biological factors, and experiences from childhood to the present day. We consider a strong therapeutic relationship to be the highest indicator of progress in therapy. Being able to be open with one another enhances the therapy process. Without a strong rapport between therapist and client, safety doesn't exist, and barriers to positive change exist. After gathering history and establishing rapport, we then tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. We provide EMDR (trauma therapy) as well as regular talk psychotherapy.

Have you ever felt out of control? Struggled with drugs, alcohol, disruptive behaviors, or anger that seems to take over? If you're ready to make meaningful changes but aren't sure where to start, I'm here to help. I'm Rahim, a Mental Health Counselor Intern specializing in helping individuals overcome substance use, anger management issues, disruptive behaviors, career challenges, and performance stress. My ideal client is someone who's tired of feeling stuck and is ready to develop practical strategies to regain control of their life, improve relationships, and build a more fulfilling future. My counseling approach integrates evidence-based methods like Strengths-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you identify triggers, develop healthy coping skills, and harness your innate resilience. As a Behavioral Health Program Manager and soon-to-be graduate of John Carroll University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, I bring both professional training and cultural awareness to our sessions. I create a judgment-free space where teens and young adults can work through challenges while feeling truly heard and supported. I understand taking that first step can feel daunting, but you don't have to face these challenges alone. Whether you're dealing with substance use, disruptive behaviors, anger, career transitions, or overwhelming stress, together we can develop the tools you need to create lasting positive change. When you're ready to start building a stronger, more confident version of yourself, I'll be here to support you every step of the way.

For oppressed people to intentionally cultivate pleasure is an act of resistance - Ingrid LaFleur. I specialize in providing culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, poly & kink-friendly, and queer-affirming therapy. My journey as a queer, non-monogamous South Asian neurodivergent woman, along with the experiences of those close to me, deeply shape my approach. I draw on my first-hand knowledge of navigating kink/sex-positive environments. It's important to me to approach therapy with a sense of curiosity and openness so that I can better understand and support my clients. I view each individual within the context of their environment, recognizing the complex intersections of their various identities. I rely on evidenced-based methods that consider the impact of trauma and are attuned to diverse cultural perspectives. In my sessions, I strive to create a safe space for clients to rehearse for life outside of therapy. Building an authentic relationship with my clients is my highest priority. Jiddu Krishnamurti said that it is no measure of health to be adjusted to a society that is profoundly sick and I do not see therapy as a way to numb the pain that is caused by systemic oppression but rather a way to empower clients to have compassion for themselves.

My work is primarily catered toward issues such as acute stress, interpersonal difficulties, and challenges involving mood and anxiety. While I welcome individuals of all backgrounds, I am particularly invested in working with clients with marginalized identities, acting as a welcoming ally to queer and trans identified individuals and people of color. As a therapist, I have close to a decade of experience working with a range of at-risk populations in a number of professional settings. Many of my clients arrive feeling like they move from one stressor to the next. Getting out of bed is difficult, creativity and passion fade, and scrolling on a screen replaces human contact. My practice aims at helping individuals uncover, clarify, and address substantial barriers which block pleasure and satisfaction. The work I do involves a deep exploration of historical, interpersonal, and emotional factors in conjunction with the development of practical skills aimed at fostering wellness.

I provide a safe space for people to sort out their most difficult life challenges and celebrate their prideful/joyous moments and accomplishments. Every individual is the expert on their experience, but at times can benefit from evidence based tools, skills and perceptions to aid in maximizing their potential to living a fulfilling, stress-reduced life. Together we will explore these experiences, where I will provide psychoeducation and evidence based interventions to facilitate growth and relief. I am skilled in Positive Psychology, CBT, REBT, DBT, Solution- Focused therapy, Existential Psychology and other evidence based practices.

As a first-generation college grad, I get the pressure and anxiety that come with starting college. The excitement of this big step can often mix with imposter syndrome as you navigate classes, friendships, and “adulting.” You don’t have to do it alone! I’m here to help you build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and manage life’s stressors.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist who provides trauma-informed care to a wide variety of patients. I strive to provide a warm and safe space where patients can feel comfortable sharing without fear of judgment. My goal is to help my patients reflect on their values so that they can work towards what it means to be their "best self." I will always focus on treating the symptoms and not the "disorder," in an effort to tailor my approach to the individual. I believe deeply in fighting stigma associated with mental illness and am involved in advocacy and research outside of treating patients.

At the heart of my work is the belief that growth begins when we turn inward; not only to solve problems, but to truly listen. Beneath stress, self-doubt, and burnout is often a quieter call for balance, meaning, and wholeness. In our sessions, I’ll invite you to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been overshadowed by deadlines, expectations, or the pressure to achieve. My approach blends psychodynamic and somatic (body-centered) therapy to explore both your inner world (unconscious patterns, images, and beliefs) and the lived experience of your body, where insight and change can take root. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and work with students navigating anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, creative blocks, identity questions, and challenges with eating and body image, relationships, self-worth, or belonging. I’m particularly drawn to working with artists and creatives. What matters most to me is creating a space that is open, safe, and judgment-free; a space where you can explore who you are, discover your own meaning, and move toward a life that feels both authentic and sustainable. Hello! With over 25 years working with individuals and couples, I have a wide range of counseling experience with issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship conflicts, illness, parenting, loss and bereavement, and aging. I use a range of evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy to help you change unhelpful patterns and realize your goals. My focus is on the development of your personal strengths, emotional and relational intelligence, and resilience. Based on the trust and respect we build together, our work will focus on ways to make your life more satisfying and productive. By listening attentively to your concerns, I can guide you to a clearer understanding of what is holding you back from a more fulfilling life. With compassion and caring, I build on our connection to enhance your ability to cope, to deal with stress, disappointment, anger and grief, and to improve your personal and work relationships. In our first session, we will establish a good working partnership and discuss what brought you to this point and your expectations for therapy. We will create a shared understanding of how you see your problems and how we will work together to reduce your stress and improve your life. Please reach out if you think we might be a good fit! I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. I am committed to making therapy affordable. Through Path, I am in-network for most commercial insurances, so you're only responsible for your co-pay!
