I love helping people live their best lives. For some people, that means managing anxiety or depression, starting a relationship, or ending one. Sometimes we need some help navigating the feelings that come along with life changes related to parenting, work, and finding meaning. I use a cognitive approach to increase insight and understanding about who we are and why we do what we do. I am experienced working with couples as well as with mental health professionals. During our sessions, you can expect respect, expertise, kindness, humor, and a safe place to be yourself. I look forward to speaking with you! I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York and is currently in the process of receiving my PhD in Mental Health Counseling at Pace University. I recognize that each individual is unique and is the expert in their own life. I utilize a person-centered approach focusing on key components of positive psychology and cognitive mindfulness techniques to help foster resilience when facing adversity. I believe the most important way a person can be fully themselves is by building a trusting, empathetic, and compassionate relationship between a client and a therapist. My therapeutic work focuses on helping clients gain insight into their thoughts, better identify emotions, and empower clients to make more mindful decisions for themselves. I am passionate about helping children, teens, and adults navigate their lives. I utilize creativity and mindfulness with my clients and incorporate stepping outside of the box to provide clients the opportunity to freely express themselves while learning healthy ways to communicate their emotions. My motto comes from my Great Aunt Mary: “Wherever you plant her, she will grow” This is the motto that I hold for all of my clients, wherever life might take you, you have the ability to grow to your full potential, even when planted in adverse and challenging environments. Every garden needs support to grow, let me be your support along your journey!

Hi, I am a LMHC and I graduated with my master’s degree from WCSU and I am also a certified personal trainer. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults from the ages 14 and up. I also like working with mothers and daughters whom have a strained relationship or just need some help with building their relationship back up. I specialize with issues like anxiety, depression, self-esteem:etc. I always knew I wanted to help other people from a young age. As a kid and teenager I struggled with shyness, self-esteem issues and depression. A lot of the time I felt like I was alone and felt like I was not heard. Since then my goal in life was to help others feel like they are not alone and they are heard no matter the issue. I also believe in treating the whole person. The body and mind are connected, therefore both should be treated. On top of being a therapist, I am also a personal trainer for the last 6 years. I use many different approaches including DBT, CBT, mindfulness techniques, art therapy and psychodynamic. I think every individual is unique, therefore there isn’t just a “one size fits all” approach. I like to speak to each client for a few minutes via phone to make sure that I am the right fit for them. Then I move on to scheduling the first session which consists of me asking questions and getting to know my client and their goals for treatment. I like to take a collaborative approach and allow my client to be the leader in what works and what doesn’t work for them in treatment. I want to help anyone who is willing to put in the work in and out of session. I like to have my clients set small goals in between sessions and review them the following session as a way of assisting in their healing process. I was taught to be kind because you never know what someone else is going through. This value has allowed me to be more empathetic and it allowed me to always be curious. From a young child I was always interested in different cultures. I make sure to take time to look at everyone’s perspectives and check my own judgements. I am constantly learning about different cultures to make sure others feel comfortable and welcomed when they come see me for therapy.

Hello! I am a New York State licensed Psychotherapist with over 21 years of experience. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to identify and reshape negative thoughts and unproductive behaviors or issues in a client's daily life. Many of my clients find it helpful to set goals together and break problems into small, manageable steps. I work in collaboration with my clients to achieve short-term and long-term goals. I particularly enjoy working with college and graduate students in times of transition. I am warm, genuine, positive, and engaged. In session, I will build rapport with you, make sure I’m hearing what you’re communicating, and establish a therapeutic alliance. I’ll listen to your thoughts and feelings and reflect back what I notice to highlight opportunities for growth and facilitate behavioral change. During our first session, I'll ask about your symptoms and what brought you to therapy. We may cover your history, education, relationships, career, and current living situation, and agree on your goals and objectives. If you want to make positive changes and think we might be a good fit, please reach out! I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. I am also committed to making therapy affordable! Through Path, I am in-network for most commercial insurances, so you're only responsible for your co-pay.

Fostering Growth Counseling, LCSW, PLLC
Kelly Solis is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the social service and behavioral health field. Throughout her career, Kelly has worked with various populations in a number of different settings. Currently, Kelly provides individual psychotherapy to adults who are struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety and panic, grief, or stress. Many of Kelly's clients experience feelings of sadness and low mood, sleep difficulties, low energy, trouble with concentration; as well as, feelings of anxiousness and worry, difficulty relaxing, and feelings of restlessness. She also provides support to those experiencing difficulty coping with life transitions, loss, relationship issues/conflict, work stress, and trauma. Kelly’s approach to therapy is client centered and strengths based. Kelly helps clients identify how certain patterns of behavior or unresolved traumas can impact their functioning in the present. Using CBT concepts, she educates clients on how one's thoughts can influence their feelings and behaviors. For those experiencing stress, Kelly works with her client to identify what is contributing to their distress and explore ways to improve coping, so that those stressors become more manageable. Kelly takes pride in meeting clients where they are and fosters a space where clients feel heard, safe, and where judgement does not exist. During the intake, Kelly will utilize that visit to gather information to understand the client's history and set goals together. She may assign homework which can help clients become more insightful as they move through the therapeutic process. Clients often leave sessions feeling relieved, understood, and overtime notice a reduction in symptoms. Whether it's your first time pursuing therapy or you're familiar with the process, it's important to choose someone who is a good fit and that meets your needs. Everyone deserves to have a space where they can be their authentic selves, express their feelings, receive unbiased feedback, and where they feel supported. I understand personally how challenging it can be dealing with stress, depression, anxiety and other life issues, which helps me relate with clients on a deeper level. There's a life saying that I love which is "Grow through what you go through." If you are in need of support or looking to foster change and growth, please feel free to contact me for a free phone consultation.

I tailor my trauma-informed and strength-based approach to empower clients on their unique path to thriving. I have always been passionate about supporting trauma survivors, which led me to focus the beginning of my career on crisis intervention and counseling survivors of domestic violence. This experience allowed me to hone my expertise in trauma-informed care, which I continue to use in my work with a broader population of clients. My work is exploratory and skill-focused, using solution-focused, emotion-focused, psychodynamic, dialectical-behavioral, and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic principles. I apply these techniques to help clients whose goals include: building self-esteem, healthy relationships, coping with anxiety, depression, & PTSD, becoming more attuned to their emotions, and navigating life transitions. In a session together, clients can expect me to be fully authentic, collaborative, and ready to explore with them! My sessions are conversational and focused on guiding clients to learn more about themselves and build the skills they need to thrive. Skills we focus on may include: building self-compassion, identifying your strengths, developing healthy coping skills, assertive communication skills, and challenging unhelpful thoughts. I believe healing and growth come from a balance of support and challenge. Therefore, I support clients unconditionally and challenge them to look deeper within themselves to explore the roots of their ongoing struggles and past difficulties. Ultimately, I work with each client to create a safe and affirming space where they can be their most authentic self. As a therapist, I strongly believe in creating a comfortable and safe space for clients. Through my experience, I've found that my therapy style is more casual, where I find sessions being experienced as casual conversations. I also show clients that I am human too and let clients of mine know that I've had my share of life experiences and have experienced some of the feelings you've experienced based on your current stressors. I can truly empathize with you and your stress. I've heard from many clients that this approach has led them to feel more comfortable in the therapeutic space and with me as their provider. I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. Evernorth Behavioral Care Group is a behavioral health provider group in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth. For my availability, please reach out to Octave’s team by emailing or calling.
Beyond Burnout Co
Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life. Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. That experience taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that real change happens when therapy feels safe, personalized, and empowering. If you’re ready to move from burnout to balance, I’d love to help you take that next step.
AOK Health Solutions
The students I work best with are often juggling a lot—classes, exams, relationships, family expectations, jobs, and the constant pressure to “have it all figured out.” If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, unmotivated, or just not like yourself lately, you’re not alone. College can be exciting, but it can also be lonely and stressful in ways people don’t always talk about. In our sessions, you’ll have a space where you can be real—no judgment, no pressure, just honest conversations about what’s going on and practical tools to help you cope. Whether you’re struggling with stress, burnout, confidence, friendships, or big life decisions, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and in control. If you’re ready for support that actually fits your life as a student, I’d love to help you take that next step.

I have been in the field for 10 years working with children, teens, adults and seniors dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, relationship/family conflict, divorce and domestic violence. I view each individual or family as unique and approach therapy in the same way, meeting them where they are at. Therapy can be uncomfortable and so I try to structure each session as a casual conversation to help facilitate a safe space where change and vulnerability are welcome.
