“It’s always best to believe in one’s self, but a little help from others can be a great blessing!” I view each person as the main character in their book of life. Each book contains stories of joy, sadness, exploration, struggle, and most importantly, HOPE. My goal to assist in exploring these stories, whether you encounter depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, intersectional struggles, or self-esteem issues...I am especially sensitive to those impacted by LGBTQ issues, religious minorities, activists, uniformed public servants, and those experiencing depression. I utilize a multiculturally sensitive approach, borrowing from ACT, DBT, MBCT, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused therapies to develop a collaborative and eclectic style to treatment, tailored to your needs. Cultures all over the world have a common truth: life is suffering. Through therapy, I hope to create a safe and empowering environment to help you withstand and overcome that suffering. I welcome you to reach out to start this journey.
Life can be tricky at times...and for those who are also navigating all of life while being a student, it's even trickier. I hope we can explore together ways in which to reduce some of your stress and anxiety and/or other issues you might be facing.

I offer a warm and non-judgemental space, integrating multiple therapeutic approaches including client-centered, cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy. I support clients managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, substance use and relationship issues. I have extensive experience helping young adults and university students navigate their experiences. I believe each of us has a capacity to grow and heal and that the therapeutic relationship provides a context for those processes. I strive to meet each client where they are and I believe that engaging with counseling is itself a step towards healing.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or others. You might even be unsure of what's "wrong" and are seeking clarity. My approach is collaborative, active, and designed for healing and creating change. I believe that a trusting relationship with you is of the utmost importance. During our time together I will work to create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance so you feel free sharing and exploring whatever is troubling you. My approach is a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive integration of attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive therapy which emphasizes (1) trusting the client as an expert of their own reality, (2) exploring the patterns through which we come to understand ourselves, others, and the world, and (3) seeking meaningful emotional experiences in a safe therapeutic relationship. I will work to build a supportive, trusting, and safe relationship with you so you can bravely identify and confront the challenges you're facing. Counseling can seem like a daunting task to take on, but it also be incredibly rewarding and life-changing. If this sounds like a journey you would like to begin, then please contact me!

Hi there! I'm Sarah, an artist, art therapist and mental health counselor. Talking to a new person about the hards parts of your life can feel deeply vulnerable! Whether it’s coming to therapy for the first time, returning after a break, or transitioning therapists, I understand the bravery and inner strength that reaching out for help requires. I aim to make the process of coming to therapy easy by making folks feel respected, safe, and understood. I provide space where people can be human, laugh/cry, share truths, and practice new skills. I try to be a person first in therapy by putting the therapy relationship at the forefront. People find my style is warm, funny, caring, and open. I am passionate about working with folks experiencing: Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OC-Spectrum), Parenting & Family Concerns, and Trauma. In my practice, I work hard to individualize a combination of evidence based treatments and expressive therapies to meet the needs and interests of the person. I integrate and individualize use of a few frameworks: Art Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Compassion Focused Therapy. See my website for more information or instagram page to learn more about my way of practicing: @saywithsarah I’m accepting telehealth clients ages 13+ and am an out-of-network provider but can help you submit claims through your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.
My clients are exhausted and overwhelmed like you. They are tired of doing their best to keep all these balls (school, work, parenting, relationships, self-care, health and wellbeing, sleep + more) up in the air (even though admittedly they are pretty darn good at it). But when they inevitably drop a few because something else pops up or they get tired, life feels messy and they are quick to place judgements on themselves. My clients are expert problem solvers and doers, who in the face of stress, just keep going. Some are the type of person who the people in their life lean on for support. Some have tried a number of ways to fix or problem solve their way our of their emotions or exhaustion. They find their coping to work for a little bit but aren't moving them towards the life they imagined for themselves. Some realize they aren't sure they can keep up with all of what needs to be done to feel "okay". When some of my clients do take time for themselves or the rest they need, their mind struggles with feeling guilty, worrying about what they "should" be doing for work/school/person (fill in the blank with any responsibility). Like my clients, you deserve to find ease and connection in your body without a to-do list flowing through your head or scanning your body for what’s wrong now. Not being defined or consumed by your productivity is not out of your reach. I'd love to help you get there. Contact me today for a free consultation.

Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

Hi! I’m Nate. I'm a therapist licensed in New Mexico and Oregon who works adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, identity, stress, and men's issues. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years leading wilderness expeditions — an experience that shaped how I think about growth, connection, empowerment, and personal excellence. I use art therapy and play therapy with younger clients, and draw from CBT, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and experiential approaches with teens and adults. I show up as a real person in session — honest, direct, and occasionally funny when it helps. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most important ingredient in therapy. I'm not a blank slate — I have a perspective, I'll share it when it's helpful, and I'll challenge you when I think it serves you. My approach is collaborative and strength-based: I'm less interested in diagnosing what's wrong with you than in understanding what's gotten in the way and what you're already doing well. I tailor how I work to the person in front of me — that might mean using art or play with a child, walking through cognitive patterns with an anxious adult, or exploring how a man has been taught to relate to his own emotions. Whatever the approach, the goal is always the same: help you feel more like yourself again.
