Open Space Counseling, Consulting & Wellness was founded in 2018 to create a safe, inclusive, and progressive space where people can move from merely surviving their lives to truly thriving. Our vision is to create a warm space that is inviting anyone who feels “other” or believes that their “stuff” will be judged—for both our clients and our employees. This includes concerns related to addiction, trauma, and LGBTQIA+, among many other things. We strive to create a laid-back, family-like atmosphere among our staff, and we believe that happy employees play a large role in ensuring that we have happy clients. Open Space CCW is a LGBTQIA+ affirming, relationship minority affirming, and racial justice-oriented therapy group.

Due to recent circumstances, Reset Outdoors is currently only offering phone or video chat sessions. We hope to be able to offer in-person sessions again soon. Reset Outdoors offers both a traditional session format, as well as nontraditional outdoor sessions geared towards creating a therapeutic experience in the great outdoors. By creating a supportive, nonjudgmental, and empathetic atmosphere, I help my clients to feel safe in exploring their struggles, fears, hopes, and strengths. I specialize in issues related to gender, sexuality, anxiety, depression, and trauma. For individuals pursing medical transition, I offer single-session evaluations for HRT and surgery referrals. I believe strongly in tailoring my approach to each of my clients' individual needs and therefore utilize a number of therapeutic techniques in my treatment approach. In our outdoor session format, we combine the inherent benefits of responsive listening, low-impact physical exercise, and the great outdoors. It is my belief that each individual already possesses exactly what they need to achieve healing, therefore I will do my best to support you in your efforts to uncover your own power, resilience, and sense of peace. I can be reached best through email at: emily@resetoutdoors.com

I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy. Having spent many years working in university settings, I understand the needs and challenges of being a college student and navigating the stresses and demands of student life. I work best with clients who are struggling with anxiety and stress, depression, and family and/or other relationship concerns. I believe that therapy is most effective in the context of a supportive and honest relationship in which we agree to work together to help you: -- Gain a better understanding of your feelings and experiences -- Explore aspects of your life or experience that you may have been avoiding -- Identify patterns in your actions, thoughts, feelings, experiences, and relationships -- Live a more authentic life, i.e., a life that is most consistent with your beliefs, values, and feelings As I listen to your story, I will offer reflections and interpretations with the goal of increasing understanding of your feelings and experiences, both past and present. An honest, unflinching look at our own feelings and experiences helps us make the best decisions possible about our lives. While I believe that understanding oneself is of utmost importance, I also make use of skill-focused approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy to help with the process of behavior change. While engaging in a process of self-reflection can be difficult at times, developing self-awareness helps you gain the skills to live an authentic life. In simple terms, the goal of therapy is to give you the skills to be able to check in with yourself about what you want and need and take the steps to meet those needs while at the same time nurturing and maintaining your relationships and social/vocational commitments.
Our mission is to improve our client’s quality of life by offering affordable, compassionate, person-centered, and culturally responsive care to individuals across the lifespan

This is an adult practice that works with individuals who are struggling with mood disorders, grief/loss, anxiety, and relationship issues.
My name is Rachel Noderer and I have spent the past 10 years helping individuals develop a stronger sense of compassion for themselves and mastery over their own identity. I work with folks who may be struggling with a lack of purpose, low self esteem, anxiety, or difficulty managing relationships with friends and loved ones. As we work together, my hope is that you will gradually feel more centered in your sense of self. You'll feel like you are making decisions more thoughtfully and that you are acting in accordance with your values. While I tailor my specific therapeutic interventions to meet your needs, my preference is for a conversational non-directive approach to explore and discover underlying patterns that may be influencing your experiences. I am a person-centered therapist first and foremost - which means I prioritize placing you and all of your intersecting identities at the center of the story. You are the expert in your own life and I'm here to walk beside you, provide feedback, and most importantly provide you the space you need to figure things out. Therapy with me may feel like sitting down with a friend who is your biggest cheerleader. I value curiosity, humor, and reflection in therapy and I strive to create lots of space for those qualities in our work together. I am queer-affirming, trans-affirming, sex-positive, and believe in practicing Health at Every Size. I also have experience in and am comfortable working with individuals in the kink/BDSM community as well as individuals practicing consensual non-monogamy.
