Hi, my name is Homero Lopez and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in working with adults that experience depression and anxiety associated with borderline, MDD, GAD and other challenges. I also work closely with relational challenges and couples. My focus is on non-traditional relationships. I work often with polycules, or individuals in nontraditional relationships to find balance and trust. My early sessions will be learning what you need and your goals for therapy. I have worked in places like the 988 crisis hotline and inpatient hospital settings where I provided comprehensive DBT group therapy for a wide variety of populations. I also heavily integrate Gottman methods into my couples work. I believe that everyone should have the capacity to live their life on their terms. Let's find that. I may sometimes seem to have a unique take on things as I think that we're all doing the best we can in the moment. I think that a lot of things people find to be different can make perfect sense given the right context. This doesn't mean that it's the most effective. Please feel free to schedule a call and let's see it make sense and what can be different.

Hey, I'm Briana! I help global women and gender expansive folks break free from burnout, self-doubt, low self-esteem, perfectionism, impostor syndrome, people pleasing, family/societal pressure, cultural stress, and cycles of generational trauma. Through our work, you'll release habits and patterns that sabotage your joy, unlearn oppressive beliefs you've been taught about everything from body image to your role as a woman, and reclaim yourself from capitalism, supremacy culture, and manufactured urgency. You'll tap into your own power and claim your own liberation. As revolutionary woman Assata Shakur reminds us: "we have nothing to lose but our chains." Through our work together, you'll reclaim your power, release fear and self-doubt, redefine your roles, regain confidence in your skills and gifts, reimagine relationships with community, and reconnect with rest, joy, pleasure, and play so you can survive these times. I work with young people who are navigating life and its many challenges. I specialize in trauma treatment and in working with difficult and complex situations wherein trauma, development, and mental health converge. My clients tend to have tried counseling and, for various reasons, feel it did not work for them. My clients are often struggling to show up in traditional therapy, feeling trapped in their suffering, frozen and unable to move. I work with them to find personal power and agency over their dissociative tendencies, to find healing and purpose again. I believe everyone can heal in relationship, especially young people.

Are you caught in a loop of asking yourself “was there something about me that made them treat me this way?” Or “am I being sensitive, overreacting, is it my fault?”. Sometimes it’s hard to make sense of our experiences in relationships. Therapy can offer a space for clarity, healing, and transformation. Along with learning how to create a felt sense of safety in relationships. In therapy we will learn to honor both the wisdom of your survival strategies and your desire for change. Therapy can be a place to learn to hold discomfort and transform self esteem. Part of my role is help co-regulate, taking discomfort that individually feels overwhelming and holding it together. Submit your request for therapy services here on Thriving Campus or use the link to my website and schedule your Free 15 minutes consultation. I take the insurance providers listed below and my private pay fee is $150 per 50 minute session. Currently I only offer online teletherapy sessions. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sharing your story and asking for help can feel scary, and that's okay! You may feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or lost in connecting to your authentic self. I am here to listen. Are feelings of guilt and shame making it hard to forgive yourself? Or has difficulty finding motivation or a life transition left you at a loss of control over your environment? Maybe unsaid expectations about how you "should" look or feel left you exhausted? Perhaps fear and anxiety are holding you back, making you feel stuck. If so, I am here to help and provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to heal. I specialize in working with women suffering from depression, shame, anxiety, ADHD, and insecurity. In addition to these specialties, I also have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with religious shame and related emotional concerns. I believe asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do. In my sessions, I foster an authentic environment that allows my clients to feel heard, empowered, and celebrated. I want my clients to feel a sense of belonging and purpose in sharing their unique story. I appreciate the opportunity to listen and partner with in your healing journey.

In-Person & Online
Austin, TX

Monica is a bilingual therapist and the child of immigrants who believes that true healing grows from the threads that connect us — to our bodies, to the people around us, and to the world we inhabit. Growing up between cultures, she learned early how identity, language, and community shape our sense of self. Her journey to counseling has been shaped not only by professional experience in diverse communities and holistic mind-body practices, but also by years of personal self-healing and self-discovery through reading, reflection, and engagement with feminist theory and history. These experiences have deepened her understanding of how gender, power, and society influence our inner lives and relationships. She works with women and femmes who have ADHD and has a nuanced understanding of how gender shapes ADHD lived experiences. Monica provides compassionate support for the unique challenges and strengths ADHD brings, helping clients navigate identity, relationships, and self-trust with insight and validation. In working with Monica, clients will learn about themselves and ways to leverage their neurodiversity to their benefit, allowing it to enhance their lives rather than hinder them. Monica is also passionate about supporting women in reclaiming their sensuality, self-trust, and pleasure, particularly in the wake of trauma. Her work in this area integrates conversation, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and embodiment practices, including yoga. By creating a safe and affirming space where clients can explore intimacy, desire, boundaries, and identity without shame, the therapeutic space allows clients to heal, reconnect, and embody their true sensual power. Through therapy, Monica guides clients to reconnect with themselves fully. In connecting to their bodies, minds, desires, and voices, clients can cultivate lives that feel grounded, empowered, and authentically their own.
