At Ash Tree we have therapists that utilize a trauma informed and strengths based approach to meet the needs of our clients. We have therapists that specialize in working with complex trauma and PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, and other life transitions.
I work with individuals struggling with life transitions, relationship problems, anxiety and other painful emotions. I have over 10 years of experience treating adolescents and adults and everyone in between. Working with students and aspiring young professionals is a population I'm passionate about working with. I strive to empower clients through developing greater self-awareness, acceptance and motivation to accomplish their goals. Therapy is a powerful tool that anyone can benefit from when the courage and motivation is present and I believe should be accessible to all. I work with students and launching young adults on a sliding scale rate to prevent cost from being an automatic barrier to seeking support or trying counseling for the first time.
A licensed psychologist, I received both my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and my M.S. in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. When faced with difficult situations, we often feel discouraged. I believe that a safe, supportive environment is key to growth, and I offer plenty of encouragement. I help clients gain perspective through empathic exploration. We’re all doing the best we can in life, but sometimes we get in our own way. As much as I’m comfortable with deep emotions, I also believe in the importance of bringing laughter and humor into the room!
If you are new to therapy or if you've met with a therapist before, I commend you for recognizing your need for supporting yourself right now. If you are experiencing problems related to drugs and alcohol, anxiety, depression, anger, or stress management, I feel confident that I can help you to deal with these issues effectively. I take a mindfulness-based approach in working with clients, which incorporates a main focus of learning to accept and be with whatever is happening in the present moment. This can help create clarity and present a reasonable solution to challenges. If you are interested in working with me, please reach out to me at anytime.

Hi there! My name is Julia, and am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Georgia. I am passionate about walking alongside young adults and college students navigating challenges related to anxiety, emotional regulation, effects of trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I also have expertise in supporting women in the pre- and postpartum period. I am dedicated to creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which clients feel comfortable to be their most true selves, explore their values and strengths, and connect with their inherent worth. I use a trauma-informed, relational approach to therapy that combines a thoughtful blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices to help clients connect with the present moment. I bring a warm, grounding, and compassionate energy to therapy, offering a space that is nonjudgmental and connected. I love supporting clients in better understanding their emotional worlds, developing practical tools for self-regulation, building secure relationships, and reconnecting with their sense of self. I would be honored to get to work with you!
Hello; My name is Shane Blasko. I am a Licensed Psychologist. The style of therapy that I utilize is compassion-based interpersonal therapy, which is based on the idea that the relationship between a person and their therapist is extremely important. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy; it is an important relationship through which we can heal from past traumas, work through life transitions, learn to communicate more effectively, and learn to manage disruptive symptoms through learning more effective ways of coping, and understanding why we cope the way we do. I believe that it is important for therapists to try to understand the different contexts that each client is coming from; this means that I am dedicated to learning more about how each client experiences the world, and makes sense of it. I believe that each individual is unique, and that part of the job of the therapist is to try to understand how the client makes meaning of their experiences, and to assist the client with their goals.
My goal is to provide a safe, understanding, and uplifting environment for my clients. Through a client-centered approach that prioritizes your personal goals, I will support you in your journey. I believe that true change necessitates a deep understanding of who you are, and I will work closely and supportively with you to create a dynamic and empathetic therapeutic environment. I provide specialized therapy for adolescents and adults, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as comprehensive couples counseling, including premarital therapy. I work with folks dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. For children ages 6 and up, I also provide play therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), tailoring treatment to each child’s developmental needs. My ideal client is open-minded and willing to engage in self-reflection as consistently as is possible.
Have you experienced a trauma or life-changing event? Are you feeling stuck and struggling with anxiety or depression? Or are you just trying to figure out who you are or find a purpose? I am passionate about helping those who are working to find balance in their lives and those in need of finding that mind-body connection to promote health and well-being. I am experienced in working with Trauma, LGBTQ+ community, relationship and family concerns, and college students struggling to balance the demands of academics and daily living. I offer a holistic approach focusing on interpersonal relationships, mind-body connection, and how past experiences can influence our current thought processes, emotions, and behaviors. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and skilled in various techniques that can help those suffering from PTSD and various types of trauma, anxiety, and depression. Choosing to begin therapy can be very difficult, so I am offering free 15 to 30 minute consultations to help you determine whether we are a good match, and to give you an idea of what working with me will be like.
I am so honored you found yourself here. I believe therapy works best when you feel deeply understood—not analyzed or rushed. Before I’m a therapist, I’m a human who values gentleness, curiosity, and compassion. It’s truly a privilege to sit with folks as they share their stories, their pain, and hopes for something different. I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent (or “neurospicy”) humans and those whose nervous systems have been shaped by trauma. Therapy with me moves at a pace that honors your body, your boundaries, and your unique way of being in the world. There’s no pressure to perform or “fix” yourself. My work is grounded in experiential and somatic approaches, meaning we don’t just talk about what’s happening—we gently explore how your experiences live in your body, emotions, and relationships. This can be especially powerful for healing complex trauma, navigating chronic pain and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have learned to stay guarded. If you desire to connect with a therapist that cultivates a safe space for you to explore healing without judgement and approaches your experiences with curiosity and empathy I invite you to this space. As a fellow neurodivergent, chronically ill, queer woman - I understand how exhausting life can be. Let us explore what living authentically means for you.
I am a therapist with experience helping individuals navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression and identity discovery. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Relational-Cultural Theory, which means I believe healing happens in connection with others. I honor each person's story and create space where they can explore what it means to live authentically. My goal is to walk alongside you on your journey and navigate the path together. As a Korean-American adoptee, I am passionate about supporting clients working with issues involving adoption. I believe that adoption is an ongoing process that impacts racial identity, family dynamics, and the search for meaning. I also specialize in helping clients explore how their various identities - including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender - intersect and shape their experiences. I strive to provide an affirming, inclusive space for people of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Additionally, I enjoy working with student-athletes navigating the pressures of balancing academics and athletics. I support them as they face new challenges and adjust to new environments.
I have been in practice for over 35 years and feel I have a great ability to connect with people. I have worked with college-aged young adults for most of my career and enjoy helping individuals cope with the stress and challenges of this time in their lives. I have specialized in treating eating disorders for over 20 years. I also work on issues pertaining to relationships, depression and anxiety.
I believe myplace is to journey alongside you as a companion, offering guidance and perspective to empower you towards healthy choices and lifestyles. I believe everyone has their own strengths, values, and virtues that can be used to help guide the therapeutic process. I often see clients who feel stuck or overwhelmed by their emotions. I also frequently work with matters of meaning making, queerness, and spirituality. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or for a free consultation.
Revelare Recovery is a Women’s PHP & IOP program designed to address co-occurring diagnoses of an Eating Disorder (ED) alongside a secondary Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or Mental Health diagnosis. It operates at the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) levels of care. One important aspect of this program is that it provides supportive housing for clients who reside outside of the Atlanta market. This housing arrangement ensures that clients have a safe and structured environment during their treatment period. Our supportive housing program consists of two phases: Phase 1, which lasts for 30 days and is conducted primarily in the PHP setting, and Phase 2, which lasts an additional 30 days and takes place primarily in the IOP setting. The program specifcally caters to women, recognizing their unique needs in the context of EDs and co-occurring disorders. By focusing exclusively on women, the program can tailor its treatment approaches to address the specific challenges and experiences that women may face.
