My goal is to guide you in understanding what interferes with living a fulfilling life. I believe change is possible, no matter the circumstance, and I will support you through your journey of growth and self-discovery. As a therapist with extensive background working with trauma survivors and individuals of all ages, couples and families in crisis, I respect and understand both the challenges and lifelong benefits of having therapeutic alliance. My experience with the healing process has solidified the importance of consistent, genuine care, creating a space to pursue what it is you desire and find to be meaningful. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Life Coach, my approach is primarily relational, focused on the cultural considerations of an individual. Although we cannot avoid suffering, learning to cope with it is possible. As we become curious and explore beliefs, experiences and relationships, we will discover meaning to move forward with renewed purpose. I use theoretical practices such as behavioral, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, psychodynamic, strengths-based with a trauma and attachment lens. Additionally, I am specialized in sexual trauma and utilize techniques to help alleviate symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and depression, build skills to regulate emotions and transform unhealthy behaviors. I am a Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England trainee.
My mission is deeply rooted in facilitating healing by navigating clients through both past and present trauma. I am not just a counselor; I am a dedicated advocate for personal growth. My commitment lies in challenging your perspectives and fostering self-insight, empowering you to become the best version of yourself. I firmly believe in a client-centered approach, meeting you where you're at in your unique journey and guiding you through the healing process as a supportive and empathetic guide. As a multicultural individual, I bring a rich understanding of diverse cultures to my practice. This enables me to address specific traumas and disorders related to race and ethnicity, creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals seeking support. My specialization extends to individual, couples, and group therapy. Therapeutic modalities I practice include Behavioral, Psychoanalytic, Cognitive, and Humanistic. I have successfully worked with clients struggling with depression, work-related stress, family stressors, anxiety, and trauma. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.
Accepting new clients! At the center of my work is the belief that healing happens through connection—therapy begins with a space that feels safe, compassionate, and authentically supportive. I work with adults and young adults who are navigating life changes, anxiety, depression, identity questions, relationship challenges, and the ongoing work of self-discovery. I am affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, supportive of neurodiverse experiences, and committed to practicing in ways that are inclusive, culturally attuned, and trauma-informed. My style is person-centered and strengths-focused, rooted in humanistic values. I support clients in making sense of their experiences, discovering meaning, and reconnecting with what matters most to them. In addition to my general practice, I also support caregivers, siblings, and parents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering space for emotional processing and deeper understanding. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, an opportunity to explore meaning, reclaim personal narratives, and cultivate resilience. Each person brings their own wisdom, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity. Please reach out with any questions you may have about the therapeutic process or working with me!
I work with students from all backgrounds and across the college experience. My ideal client is someone seeking a safe, supportive space to explore thoughts, feelings, and challenges without judgment. You might be navigating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, academic pressure, life transitions, or self-esteem challenges. In therapy, I meet you where you are and work with you to identify your strengths and goals. I primarily use CBT and ACT, while integrating techniques from multiple modalities to match your unique needs. My approach helps you build resilience, manage stress, and develop practical skills to navigate college life and beyond. I see therapy as a journey, and my goal is to provide a supportive, understanding space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to create meaningful change.
I work with motivated adults (ages 21 and up) struggling with issues including anxiety, depression, sleep troubles, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss. The journey towards self-discovery is a valuable and worthwhile endeavor, deserving of the effort required to connect with one's authentic self. I believe in the inherent capacity for individuals to thrive and undergo meaningful personal growth. Throughout our work together we will create an environment where vulnerability is embraced, challenging conversations occur, and discomfort is acknowledged as a catalyst for growth and change, as we explore and unravel learned patterns that may no longer serve you. My therapeutic approach is characterized by flexibility, adapting to your unique needs and preferences. I highly value your feedback, ensuring that our collaboration is a dynamic and responsive process. Grounded in an intersectional understanding of trauma, neurodiversity, and systemic oppression, I aim not only to delve into your internal world but also to consider the impact of external factors on your well-being. Therapy with me involves taking the time to connect with your joys, struggles, history, and hopes, facilitating a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of yourself. Focusing on complex trauma and neurodiversity, I have a profound appreciation for the richness and complexity of people's stories. I am committed to supporting your growth and change while acknowledging and welcoming all facets of your identity. Furthermore, I am dedicated to my own ongoing learning on social justice topics and anti-racism, recognizing the importance of understanding my own identities (both privileged and marginalized) to create an inclusive and empathic therapeutic environment. I believe that my work as a therapist is not just about individual growth but empowering my clients to recognize and dismantle the damaging and broken systems in their lives. As the therapeutic relationship is central to our work and not every therapist is going to be the best fit for you, I encourage you to take advantage of my 15 minute free consultation. This way we can discuss what you are looking for from therapy and I can answer any questions you might have about starting therapy with me. I look forward to hearing from you!

College can be overwhelming: academics, social life, family pressures, and future plans are a lot to navigate all at once. My goal is to support students through these challenges by creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll work on building real-life coping skills, finding your personal strengths, and making room for growth and healing, no matter where you’re starting from. I take a big-picture approach, helping you look at how different parts of your life, like your relationships, identity, cultural background, and environment, affect your mental health. I specialize in helping students manage anxiety, depression, and high-stress situations, and I’m experienced in offering calm, practical support when things feel like they’re falling apart. I also believe that connection is key to healing. Whether it’s getting involved on campus, leaning on your support system, or just knowing you’re not alone, community can make a big difference. I often collaborate with school counselors, doctors, and even coaches or personal trainers to make sure you're supported in every area of your life. Because mental wellness isn't just about getting through the hard times; it's about building a strong foundation for everything that comes next.
