We are a neuropsychology practice that specializes in providing assessments for adults 16 and up. Our providers have been in clinical practice for over 35 years . The range of presenting issues for assessment include ADHD, Dementia, short-term memory changes, concentration difficulties, depression/anxiety, substance use, traumatic brain injury, learning disability, occupational/educational difficulties, movement disorders, stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, other psychiatric disorders, and other contributing factors that affect day to day functioning. Patients are either referred by their physicians or are self-referred. A neuropsychological evaluation is a set of diagnostic interviews and test procedures used to assess cognitive and baseline functioning. It makes use of standardized tests to measure mental abilities including attention, concentration, memory and learning, language, visual-spatial abilities, organization, planning, problem solving, and executive functioning. The pattern of cognitive strengths and weaknesses can be diagnostic and often correlates with specific regions of the brain. Neuropsychological evaluation can help clarify the effects of the disorder on cognitive functioning and is helpful in developing specific recommendations for treatment and rehabilitation.
I am a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in anxiety, grief and loss (death, relationship changes, life transitions, chronic illness) and anxiety. Through my many years working with bereaved clients, I have learned that we all grieve in our own way and in our own time. In an attempt to create a refuge from the cultural pressure “to move on,” I strive to offer a welcoming, nurturing, and safe space for you to grieve your loss, to find hope and connection, and to discover ways to heal and to grow. My approach is client-centered, relational, and collaborative and I draw from a variety of treatment modalities, including expressive therapies, narrative therapy, exposure therapy, CBT, and mindfulness-based strategies. During times of change and loss, a lack of understanding by those closest to us can sometimes cause confusion and feelings of loneliness. I hope to provide a safe space where you can feel supported and understood. I also hope that with time, understanding, and compassion, you will be able to find ways to connect, to heal, and to grow.

I strive to help clients understand their emotional conflicts, behavioral repetitions, and their inner-self by empathetically assisting them in working through emotional difficulties and life struggles. Feeling empowered in being proactive about our health and understanding the steps towards change is a powerful and vital process to feel seen and heard.

Another service we offer is psychological assessment, which is provided to help clarify mental health diagnoses, to learn more about what is getting in the way of treatment progress, or to take a deeper dive into how someone's personality is constructed.
